The property is in an absolutely prime location and we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine! We saw deer and elk every single day we were there. The host, Alberto, was very friendly and attentive. He treated us well and we will be back to visit again. I believe in being accurate in reviews and i would absolutely stay here again. As a matter of fact i plan on it. For accuracy and transparency the following are things that could be improved: - the entire cabin was a bit dusty - there is no covered outdoor area - basic household items were either missing or very limited like dish soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, hand soap, basic cleaning supplies. Again, NONE of these things are a showstopper, although it would be nice to have coffee outdoors even if the weather isn't great. We will stay here again and recommend it highly. ##### Matt Y. The cabin itself was very clean, cozy and had all we needed to celebrate the New Year. It was also in an excellent and quiet location. Alberto was a wonderful host and very helpful. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. A nice backyard for our furry family members. We loved the fireplace for the snowy nights. We were 8 adults and 2 dogs and everyone was extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back. ##### Letitia V. We come to Ruidoso every year and this property is by far the best we have been in. Convenient to all the attractions and still close to Midtown. This cabin is in a quiet neighborhood where we saw deer, elk, and even wild turkey. That was a bonus. The owners, Lily and Alberto Robles were very accommodating to any of our requests. I wanted to book for next year, but the cabin is already booked for my time frame. ##### Linda P. The house layout was great for our family, with 2 bedrooms downstairs and one master upstairs. It has a fenced backyard for pets, but we were disappointed the entire backyard was gravel. The trees around the house provided shade which made it great for sitting out on the porch. My only complaint about the house is the shower downstairs was not much more than dribble.
