Cabin was very large.
Special dining in the club was an interesting concept, but poorly explained by the wait staff. Dinner lasted 3-1/2 hours. Too long.
The room was very large and had a nostalgic feel to it! I loved seeing how the ship was back when it sailed. Breakfast was good. Staff were not helpful with gluten free options.
Staying on a beautifully preserved cruise liner built nearly 70 years ago was a unique experience for me. We really enjoyed it! However, the hotel owners perhaps went a bit overboard in trying to recreate a 1960s atmosphere in the cabins. The furniture isn't particularly comfortable. We were especially disappointed by the bed setup: two separate twin-size mattresses were placed on a king-size frame, topped with two twin-size mattress toppers. The whole arrangement kept shifting apart during the night, so we had to wake up and readjust it. But overall, we were left with a very good impression. A spacious and clean cabin, friendly and helpful staff, a very good breakfast at a reasonable price, convenient shuttle transportation and free parking in a spacious lot.

Room was not rly clean, staff very nice and helpfull, food was good asweĺl
We stayed one night on the ss Rotterdam with 2 kids (16 and 12). Both liked the experience and the water taxi to the MarketHall. Nice change from a standard hotel.
The pool unfortunately was closed and the dinner service at Lido (on board restaurant), was fully booked so we ended up at the bar and ate snacks which worked well. There was enough selection that even the pickiest eaters found something.
Did not get a chance for the tour but would like to do it in the future.
Would recommend staying here.
Loved staying here , so much history of the cruise line . Plus , the next day we sailed away on the current Rotterdam.

SS Rotterdam is nice experience. Reception staff wasn’t nice once we arrived early as we simply asked if early check in available and lady was so unhappy telling how busy they are and we must come after 3pm - I agree but tone and face expression could be different and all story would be different.
Breakfast is nice , staff in restaurants are super friendly and doing every single extra mile if they can. Check out process super simple.
Thank you for hosting us
This stay was so much like being on a regular cruise ship. Our 13 year old granddaughter was impressed with it. The meal at the restaurant was wonderful
The ship is amazing, so beautiful and a real history lesson in 1950s glamour.
I was on a work conference and the facilities were great as were the lunches and dinners.
Really interesting and great place to stay.
Our stay at the SS Rotterdam blew us away. This is definitely in our top 5 of the most original hotel stays we have done in our time as globetrotters. Wonderful, very spacious rooms...nothing like the ones we have seen on the cruises we have done. Fantastic beds too. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone traveling to Rotterdam.
The service was good, the shuttle helped to get to the metro although finish early, the staff are lovely and helpful

SS Rotterdam stay
Quite an experience. Brings back 1960’s retro style in the cabins. Didn’t get much time to wxplote but wanted to do the tour. Really good fun coming back to the ship by water taxi, straight to its own entrance. Good fun, I would go again, I think.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Even had a small refrigerator.
Boat was clean and tour was fun.
Food was excellent! Breakfast buffet was great as well as dinner.
It was nice to eat outside watching the sunset! Super romantic! Recommend making a dinner reservation.
Good unique property, very comfortable. Huge carpark infront of ship. Ferry service adjacent to ship allows for access to the pedestrian tunnel to walk to Het Park and Euromast (ferry runs 0700-1000 & 1345-1800). Able to walk to central Rotterdam (Cube Houses, etc) in about 45 minutes, felt very safe.
Fun experience to stay on the ship.
Really good and informative service when you go on the boat tour.
Not so good a service on the remaining ship: reception who doesn’t want to help, hard to get service (even get a table) at the restaurant in the evening.
The volounteers made the stay worthwhile.
The room was large and nice although the refrigerator wasn’t that cold. The food for dinner and breakfast were very good. We were disappointed, however, that we couldn’t fully explore the ship quit paying for a tour. Staff didn’t seem to care about that. In addition o

Iconic and atmospheric but also very tired in places. My cabin carpet was in a very poor state and the decor pleasant but outdated. Portholes were filthy on the outside, difficult to fix but they still must be cleaned.
Staff were wonderful throughout, warm and friendly and willing.
The Lido restaurant was enjoyable overall but, sadly, the food was only average.
I'm glad I've stayed in such a special place but - sorry - I won't be back for more!
