Never stay at ANY Americas Best Value Inn

Poor customer service, the linen was stained and crumpled, bathtub and toilet bowl stained, shower curtain filthy. Not a single redeeming factor. Continental breakfast at 7 am was some dry cereal, no milk, no coffee. We were told “the kids were here this morning and ate it all”. We ended up going to a McDonald’s.

Worst motel I've ever been to!

This motel is just BAD! Dirty, old, outdated, just plain worn out! If it hadn't been a prepaid, non-refundable reservation, i would have rather slept in my truck. I have no idea how they have the rating that they do. STAY AWAY!!!

Don't waste your money unless your desperate.

I will never stay at another Americas Best Value Inn. The only good thing was they called me the day before confirming if I needed one bed or two beds. That was comforting that they would check on that before I checked in. However upon my arrival I was greeted by a locked door and attendant was very hesitant to come open the door for me. Once I got in my room I was greeted by 5 roaches on the wall by the TV and one in the tub. The cable to the TV was very delayed and then ended up going black on all the channels. In the morning when I needed to take a shower I closed the curtain to find a bunch of black stains all over the curtain (Im assuming mold). I headed to the front office for the continental breakfast and It was horrible. In the case where bagels/muffins/breads are usually offered it was just packages of crackers along with milk peanut butter and jelly in the refrigerator.

OK room at a cheap price

Just stayed one night on our way to Port Aransas. The room was clean but dated. after reading some bad reviews, I was leary but the room was fine and well worth the price we paid which was cheap. the advertised "breakfast" was just cereal and toast and orange juice.

Never Again Will I Stay at America's Best Value In

My experience with America's Best Value Inn has been mixed. This stay has me convinced that it is just not worth taking a chance with this chain any longer. The room smelled like smoke (listed as a non-smoking room), the carpet and the floor were sticky, to the point that we had to wear our shower flip flops the whole time there. Bugs in the bathroom, bugs in and around the microwave, and the sheets made us itch. The guy at the front desk was nice, but sorry, I will never set foot in any hotel in this chain again.

Honestly avoid this location. Not recommended !

Well, the hoel was very average and continental breakfast was just the name with very few items present. Nothing to be exited about compared to what we paid for 3 nights visit. Frankly it was a joke. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Worst Hotel stay I have ever experienced!

I reserved a room at this location online and was given a choice as to room size (standard room or suite) and bed preference (1 king or 2 doubles). I selected 1 king/suite yet when I arrived to check in, the appearance of the hotel was not how it appears on the website, I wasn't given the room I selected (I was given a guest bedroom) and the overall appearance of the room was poor quality, leaving me no feeling of comfort whatsoever. I am thoroughly dissatisfied and I will not be recommending this particular hotel location to anyone.

Roaches all over the place. Mold growing in bathrooms. The TV in our room didn't work, decided to switch hotels after a few hours there please do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a better room somewhere else

Nice Stay!

Our room was clean and very spacious, and would stay again if I was in the area. Continental breakfast was very sparse with everyone having to use the same tub of butter and one jar of strawberry jam "never experienced this before" hehe!

the staff was friendly the room hot they didnt turn on the ac until we checked in. I would never stay there again. the only good thing about the stay was that we only used the room to sleep late at night so we didnt have to spend much time at the hotel.

Unethical hotel management

The hotel was under construction. The management refused to honor the amount agreed upon. Offered to let us stay upstairs (a 5 day stay) no elevators, and my friend is 70 and has bad knees, at a higher rate. Before he remembered it was Hotels.com, he had assigned us to a downstairs room away from the construction. Hotels.com handled it well. We did have to find another hotel in the area. This same thing happened to another couple friends of ours, that frequent that location on business...Avoid this headache!
