American review (first time going to Rome). Apartment is in a great location…next to taxi stand, metro, and a cute breakfast restaurant (McDonald’s is also a 5 minute walk). The one bedroom that borders the living room has doors that open to the living room (as well as a separate door). The kitchen has everything you need. The apartment does not come with extra blankets if you are using the pull-out sofa (you have to request them separately). For late check-in, it’s 40 euro (our flight landed late at night so we had to pay when we arrived). It was great having laundry, however it does take 3-4 hours to do one load from start to finish (European washing machines hold about 10 clothing items; the dryer is essentially a dehumidifier since it’s not vented to the outside of the house). Taxi to the airport (using the official Rome taxi service) is 55 euros (plus 5 for each additional person). We used it back and forth to the apartment…worked great. There is a separate key to unlock the front door to the building, there is a small elevator you can take to get to the first floor where the apartment is or you can take the stairs). Bathrooms were good (washer/dryer is in the master bathroom). Ample walk in closets and they have 2 irons if you need it. We had 5 people and would stay here again if visiting Rome. Emanuela was great at communication and Andrea were nice to work with.
