For those travelers with a walking disability: there is no elevator available, and there are 20 steps from street level to the door. The apartment can welcome up to 7 people and is located by the world-known Spanish Steps and the famous shopping streets of “Il Tridente”. All bedrooms are decorated according to hotel standards and feature beds that are slightly larger than a queen-size, standing at 180 cm wide. Every room has its ensuite bathroom, with one of the rooms also able to fit an extra single bed - especially convenient if you’re traveling with a child. On top of its own bathroom, each room is complete with a wardrobe, its own desk, an independent heating system, TV and an A/C unit. The kitchen/dining room is completely equipped and also features a dishwasher. A small balcony can serve as a smoking space. The apartment has been recently renovated and a free Wifi connection is offered to all guests. Frattina 2 mostly overlooks Via Bocca di Leone, one of the major luxury shopping destinations in the city of Rome. One room is inward-facing. Keep in mind that due to its unique location, this accommodation is in a pedestrian-only area of the city center and cannot be reached with your own vehicle or with a taxi, which will leave you at a short distance, on Piazza Mignanelli. The Spagna subway stop is also within walking distance. If you're traveling in a large group, From Home to Rome may be able to welcome you all in the same building, as we manage another flat in this same palazzo. Contact us for more information! Standard check-in: from 3 pm to 9 pm (With self-service check-in, guests can enter after 9:00 PM without any additional charges). Check-out by 11 am Upon request, we are flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on the apartment's availability and cleaning requirements. Check-in is self-service. To receive the access details, guests must complete the online form with all the required mandatory information. If the Italian Government introduces regulations prohibiting self-service check-ins, we will provide in-person check-in from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A late fee of €50 will apply for check-ins after 9:00 PM. An extra fee for check-in in person of € 35 will be charged for check-ins on the following dates: December 25, January 1, Easter Sunday and August 15th. Check-in is by self-check-in. It is MANDATORY for the guest to fill out the online form I will send when booking the property, providing their ID information as required by Italian law. Additionally, the rental contracts are included within the form, and signing them is mandatory. The form must be completed within 48 hours of the guest's arrival in Rome. Filling out the form takes about 5 minutes. The only downside to our stay is that one of the showers are leaking water downstairs to restaurant and it wasn't usable for the stay even though the host says that they will send someone to fix it the next morning. The location is perfect. However, in our opinion (which differs from the host's), the apartment fell short in terms of the accuracy of the description of the property. There are only four total rooms in the apartment; three bedrooms and a kitchen. There is no common area, living room, family room, or courtyard. If you aren't in a bedroom, there is only a small kitchen to share space. For our family, it did not work. We did several day trips and always looked forward to coming “home” every day. Each child had their own room AND bathroom. The rooms were large and comfortable. It had everything anyone could need. Quiet and secure. And the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the metro. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to stay. ##### GABRIELLE R. We stayed for 3 nights at the property and it was a very comfortable apartment in a great location. We literally walked to everything and there were tons of excellent restaurants and cafes within steps or a 5 min walk from the apartment. We had a small plumbing issue but Sara, our host, was very quick and efficient to respond. We would definitely make a return visit in the future! ##### Jonaki E. One has to watch a youtube video to figure out the locks to get in the property. One night the outdoor key didn't work, and we had to buzz every apartment to get in. The elevator does not take you to the floor of the apartment and luggage has to be carried up a flight. We rented the entire apartment, 3 bedrooms. One bedroom had no towels and 2 open and used soaps. We notified the manager and they indicated their cleaners overlooked this. However, they never offered to send towels or soap.
