Close to the metro (Line A) and major bus lines, ideally situated for visits and for the impregnation in Roman life. Supermarket, shops and several nice restaurants nearby”. These, in summary, the testimonials from our guests, all entirely positive. ‘CAFFARELLA Apartment’ is located in the central district ‘Appio Latino’, near Rome’s historical center (3 stops by underground train). The metro station is only a short distance away (2 minutes on foot). Already starting from a central location all the historic center is at hand. You can easily reach the Basilica of St. John Lateran (4 stops), Viale Manzoni (Coliseum area, 5 stops) and then Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (Esquilino), Termini Station, Via Nazionale, Via Cavour, Via Veneto, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo (Villa Borghese), Via del Corso, Piazza San Pietro, the Vatican Museums. The famous 'Appia Antica Archaeological Park' is within walking distance from the apartment. The Appia Antica park, major tourist destination, is very visited because of the presence of the Catacombs and the many archaeological finds, including the mausoleums of Cecilia Metella and the original road paving of Ancient Rome. 'CAFFARELLA Apartment’ is very cozy with every comfort catered for. In its 65 square meters it can sleep up to 5 people. There is an entrance hall, a kitchen, a large bedroom, a large living room, a bathroom with shower, a balcony overlooking the Appia Antica Park and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. In the bedroom, as well as the double bed, there is a third single sofa-bed. In the living room there is a sofa ( becomes a double bed). The apartment is very well cared for in terms of furnishings and cleanliness which we consider very important. Electrical appliances include: oven, washing machine, hair dryer , Wi-Fi, TV. Air conditioning (in the bedroom and in the living room). Parquet floor. Our neighborhood (Appio-Latino) is full of supermarkets. You will find all kinds of shops (bakeries, delicatessens, fishmongers, butchers, butchery, fruit shops, wine bars, rotisseries, ice cream parlors, bakeries, etc ..). Appio Latino district is full of restaurants, excellent trattorias and pizzerias. We will be glad to show you the best places. You are very close to city center with the metro, and you are also close to nature with the park at a 2 minute walk. Fernando is a really friendly and accommodating host. Owner was very friendly and helpful- he son met us for check-in and he was also lovely. Elevator was handy for getting bags up and down 3 floors but mostly we took stairs as it was a very cozy space inside elevator. Location was great. We used metro and found it easy to get around. We took taxi from airport (FCO) - get white one as regulated. Cost 55 tip and train to Termini station was going to be about 15 each so felt it made sense. We really didn’t spend much time in apartment as so much to do and sites located elsewhere so didn’t suit us to come back to apartment and go out for most part. One night we did go out to dinner locally to Grazia& Graziella and it was fantastic (right out entrance gate). Locals spot and very friendly. Only issue was shower but we didn’t let it slow us down and I doubt plumbing anywhere in Rome is great! . Overall a very positive experience and great value. ##### Patricia M. The kitchen was fully equipped and even included napkins and paper towels, just like home. There is so much positive about this place. I read the reviews before I booked and all the favorable reviews are accurate with how amazing this place is. The host was very kind and spoke very good English. The map of Rome and recommendations for groceries, restaurants, etc. were perfect. If you are going to Rome, this is the place to book! My daughter and I do an annual mother/daughter vacation and we were 100% satisfied with this pick! Fernando was fabulous! He was communicative, met us at the apartment and helped us with our luggage, gave us a full tour of the apartment, he provided helpful information about the metro and the bus, gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat, also provided a Great Wall map of Rome. This apartment has absolutely everything we needed! We shopped for groceries in the neighborhood, cooked meals and ate out on the cute little terrace! There aren’t enough words to truly express how lovely this apartment is, how charming the neighborhood is and how easy it is to get around on the metro or bus. He made sure all were welcome and comfortable, investing a lot of time with us during check-in. The property is ideally situated for 5 people, with a lovely view onto Antica Appia Park. There are lots of stores and restaurants/cafes nearby. It's a 7-minute walk to the metro. About 9 stops from the heart of Rome. ##### William H.
