really enjoyed staying here - one of the most comfortable beds I’d slept on in the list of 5 Italian hotels stayed at on this trip. breakfast offering was also really generous and delicious. super helpful staff. the dyson blow dryer was a huge perk as well.

Solo Travelers Unite Fight t to be taken seriously
The only reason I didn’t say superb. I arrived at the pizza restaurant just ad they opened. The trip was difficult and I did not sleep, extremely tired. Had not made reservations. This happens often almost everywhere. As a former restaurant owner my single customers taught me they are just as important as a party of six, if not more do. Place empty. Do you have a reservation. Sorry no, explain reason. I need to check finally in a reluctant way they pointed to a table saying that was the only one available. Happens to be table I wanted. It’s just the attitude. Like I said happens often and as a solo traveler I have a thing about being tested right. good was excellent and service was good. 45 minutes later after I finished the restaurant was a quarter full. Go figure!

This is a small but super chic hotel, filled every inch with character and opulence. The secret garden is a special touch of class. Beautiful done. Pictures and videos do not do it justice. This is a place you must visit.

I love everything about this hotel. Very hip and beautiful. The staff was so kind and so professional. Staff was available at all hours and extremely helpful. I loved the rooftop and Giano restaurant - both gorgeous.

The power went out twice during a severe heat wave in Rome. Then, the next morning at a very early hour, an alarm went off waking us up. It stayed on for a few minutes then stopped. No one ever came and told us whether to leave the building or not. Staff was kind, but food and drink were significantly overpriced. Breakfast was not good and was very costly.

Everyone working at the hotel was first rate and wonderful, the establishment was clean and great, I'd go back for sure... there were some material choices in our room for the drawers that had permanent finger prints and stains all over them that was a little off putting at first... but the were clean, just looked dirty.

The W Hotel in Rome is a beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were greater by Claudia, at the front desk. She was sweet, friendly, and professional. The concierge host (forgot name) looked like Joe Manganiello. He was very nice and he assisted us many times on our stay. The room is a little small (based on US standards) but beautiful comfortable. The AC was the only issue. It didn’t cool enough and to our standards. All in all, a great hotel.

The front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the bellmen were all super friendly & helpful. Raffaella was especially wonderful at the front desk! The only reason I would not stay here again is that the mosquitoes are so bad outside the room, that you cannot open the window or use your balcony. The other bummer was that the rooftop pool, bar/lounge area (it’s a shallow wading pool, just fyi) closed at 7:30. It was really disappointing to see 15-20 guests being told that they had to leave the rooftop. It was such a beautiful evening & we would’ve loved to have stayed, had some wine, watched the sunset, etc. Lastly, just a suggestion…I think some dressier clothes/uniform for the doorman/bellman would really dress up the place. They are in tshirts & khaki type pants with casual boat type shoes. They look like they’re going skateboarding. Just a thought! I think it would give more of a luxury hotel feel to be welcomed by a more professionally dressed staff.

W Rome has a wonderful vibe - Luxurious but hip and modern at the same time. The rooftop dipping pool was particularly useful on hot summer afternoons. Loved the room and the bathrooms as well.

Since this is a new property I hadn’t seen or heard much about it. However, I’ve stayed at other W Hotel’s around the world, so I felt a little more comfortable booking it sight unseen. Things I loved about my stay ... the terrace outside of my room (it was incredible, but it rained while I was there.), the bathroom, there was small dish with a chocolate topped cookie ( the Colosseum on the chocolate bar and it was amazing!), but the bar was my favorite part of the hotel! Cocktails were the best I had in Rome, & were reasonably priced! Not to mention the brought chips, olives, & nuts with our drinks! Bravo W! Bravo! 10 out of 10 as far as drinks go. Things I didn’t like, the breakfast. 😞 It was ok, but I felt as if there wasn’t enough options. My pancakes looked better than they tasted, & the buffet was very limited. The restaurant was gorgeous, the hotel bathrooms were gorgeous, however... the lobby is very small. Saturday, the lobby was like a small club, not sure if that was a good or bad thing, but I figured I’d just add that in there. Over all excellent experience! The entire staff were all amazing!

For sure NOT a 5 star and $900 hotel.
I waited until 4:30 pm for my room to be ready. The staff didnt do anything. The room was small. I dont recomend, for sure is not a hotel that worth $900.
