This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. Awesome to take a nap and go to sleep listening to the ocean. The kitchen dishes, fiesta ware, are beautiful. We Enjoyed cooking with the high quality and quantity of cookware. The only problem we had with every room was the layer of dust, including dog hair, in every room. Especially on the headboards of most beds. It was finger deep. You could run your finder across the bedrooms furniture and find several layers of dust. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
