It’s definitely not as nice as the pictures. The kitchen and bathroom are nice and new but the bedding could be updated as well…. Also a pretty bad smell that stuck to all my clothes I packed.

Nice home in Rockaway Beach
The house is well-situated off hwy 101 with just a short (1/4 block) drive on a gravel road to get to the parking area in front of the garage. The home is nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils. Note that there is no access to the lake - there is a locked gate with plenty of warning signs not to enter. Our (hopefully constructive) criticism of the home is that while there are hard floors throughout most of it, the downstairs bedroom was carpeted and there was a distinctly musty smell emanating from both the carpet and bedding in that room. Also, the upstairs bedroom would greatly benefit from a new mattress and replacing the tired old bedding on it. Other than that, we enjoyed our short stay.
