![Butrint, a Unesco World Heritage site.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, Butrint has been the site of a Greek colony (800 BC), a Roman city (44 BC) and a bishopric (5th centrury). Following a period of prosperity under Byzantine administration, then a brief occupation by the Venetians, the city was abandoned in the late Middle Ages after marshes formed in the area. The archaeological site is a repository of ruins representing each period in the city’s development and that entity is unique. Moreover the ruines are situated in a beautiful natural setting.
The photo shows the famous baptistery, a major ruin from the 6th century and an ancient Roman monument adapted to the cultural needs of Christianity. ![This little island is part of the Ksamil islands on the Albanian riviera. You can take a small boat from the mainland for about $4 roundtrip. You must arrange with the driver a pickup time.

Un peu excentre du cœur des commerces (et donc au calme). Vue partielle mer. Chambre claire et agréable. Petit balcon. Plages à 5’ à pied. Parking hôtel très utile. Petit déjeuner complet (mais café payant…). Service de qualité et personnel disponible à toute heure pour vous aider.

Tout le personnel est gentil et très serviable. La literie est confortable. Le petit déjeuner très varié et excellent. Nous avons mangé 2 fois au restaurant, c’était très bon. Dommage que les 2 fois, nos pats n’ont pas été servis en même temps et les plats manquait d’accompagnement.
