"Island hopping in the Caribbean, I prefer to rent self catering apartments- there's more flexibility than on a resort. Buttercup Cottage was an absolute find. Well equipped and in a safe area, with great wifi. That stuff you expect. But what was really difference making was the proactive support of Phelia, who manages the place. She reached out several weeks prior to the visit, offering guidance (airport directions etc.). She was proactive but not overwhelming in her contact...it was just right!...

"My stay at windblow was very disappointing. I was booked from Feb 22 to 3/1 and left on Feb 23\. The studio apartment had no draws, no nightstand, the sink in the bathroom was so tiny we ended up washing our faces in the kitchen sink because we would bump our heads trying to use bathroom sink. The Villa advertised as “quiet time” at night but had a dog that wasn’t disclosed,on site that howled for long periods of time.The shower caddy was so nasty it looked like something was growing out of it...

"The staff were ok but to have a manager who blamed her staff and vocalised it to us as the guest is poor. Also, i had no keys for two days. The noise at night from people shouting or talking loudly untol all hours was ridiculous. Location was beautiful but would not recommend or stay there again. "

The food in the restaurant was nicely prepared, tasted great and was in more than sufficient quantity. "The Milligan Guest House felt like home. The hostess, Sharon, warmly welcomes you into her home and looks after you like family. I arranged an airport transfer with The Milligan Guest House prior to my arrival (recommended) and also asked if I could have dinner arranged for the evening (delicious, and highly recommended). Sharon prepared breakfast each morning for me and it was just so delicious! I loved that she made banana fritters for me because she thought I would enjoy them, and knowing I had been to Kenya she also made me a dish from there! The coffee was also delicious. The Milligan Guest House is exceptionally clean, and it’s so peaceful to sit on the patio watching the waves and listening to the breeze. The rooms are just the right size and so comfortable. The common area is also tastefully decorated and welcoming. I enjoyed sitting there listening to the rain one evening on the comfortable sofa. I recommend The Milligan Guest House to all travellers, especially those looking for an authentic experience of Vincentian hospitality. "
