Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Rettmer?
The best time to visit Rettmer is typically between May and September, when the weather is mildest and most pleasant for outdoor activities.

This makes it ideal for exploring the local area, enjoying walks along the Ilmenau river, or visiting nearby Lüneburg. For those who enjoy cycling or hiking, late spring and early autumn (May-June and September) offer particularly good conditions, as the landscape is green and the temperatures are not too hot.
