Location is perfect, within easy reach of town yet away from all the bustle. Perfect for families with teenagers. Beach pebbly near shore but sandy a few meters out. Well equipped. Thought I’d everything. The cleaner was friendly and accommodating and brilliant. Hosts could not do enough for us. Stunning location right next to the sea. Plenty of towels regularly changed. Lovely restaurant nearby The town was a little walk but worthy going restaurants and bars reasonable and excellent food. We were a group of friends and family and having the 2 villas side by side was perfect for us. Can’t recommend highly enough. ##### Susan D. Séjour de 9 nuits en avril 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Mary K. 8 août 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### Ideal Property in Great Location We stayed at the Iris and Espera Villas for a week during the summer with extended family. The two houses together comfortably accommodated twelve people. The property was well-maintained and nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchens were well-equipped, and we ate in a couple of nights. On our arrival, Marianna supplied the house with a very generous welcome basket that took care of our breakfasts and snacks for a number of days. Having the pools and ocean right at our doorstep was amazing. We would go out and tour during morning and early afternoon, then come back to the house for a dip in the ocean or pool and watch the sunset on the loungers. Old-town Rethymno was about a twenty-minute walk away from the house, making access to restaurants and shops easy. There were also a number of nice beach-side restaurants nearby when we didn't feel like making the walk to Rethymno. The front of the house is right on a busy street, but don't be put off by that - You will spend most of your time at the back of the house (fronting the ocean) and won't notice the busy street from there. ThinkVilla who manages the renting of the property was prompt in replies to questions, and the on-site property manager (Marianna) was wonderful.
