A dining area, complete with charcoal BBQ and outdoor sink, sets the scene for unforgettable al fresco meals. An outdoor shower is also available.

Spanning 180m² across two floors, Nisos Villa is impeccably furnished with a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic, ensuring a serene environment with luxurious comfort. The Villa can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in real beds, and two additional guests can be accommodated, one in a folding bed and one in the sofa bed of the living room. The maximum capacity is 8 guests.

#### Villa magnifique près de tout (plage, commerces, restaurants...)

Nous avons passé 15 jours dans la villa Nisos du 1er au 15 août. C'était notre 1er voyage en Crète. Nous avons adoré l'ile et la villa qui est très bien entretenue (totalement conforme aux photos) et très bien décorée. Nous avons été accueillis par Dimitra la propriétaire des lieux qui est d'une grande gentillesse. Elle avait préparé pour notre arrivée un plat typique de Crète (excellent !!!) et un fond de course pour ne pas que nous ayons à nous déplacer le 1er jour. La maison est très propre et tout est mis à votre disposition pour que vous vous y sentiez bien (salle de sport avec machines, machine à café nespresso et classique, grille pain, jacuzzi, climatisation dans toutes les pièces, table de jardin, chaises longues,...) bref rien ne manque, y compris le ménage est fait plusieurs fois par semaine (avec changement des draps et serviettes de toilette). La villa est à 5 minutes à pied d'un supermarché où vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin, d'une station essence, à 7-10 minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants de plage.... Tous les cars venant d'Heraklion, Rethymno et de Chania passent par SFAKAKI donc il est facile de se déplacer si vous ne souhaitez pas louer de voiture. Vous êtes à 15 minutes en voiture ou en car de Rethymno qui est la capitale culturelle de l'ile. C'est une ville magnifique. Je voulais remercier vivement nos hôtes, Dimitra et son mari qui sont présents dès que vous avez le moindre besoin. Ils sont d'une grande gentillesse et prévenance. Nous sommes repartis les bras remplis de cadeaux (Huile d'olive et Raki) et avons passé une soirée au restaurant avec eux très agréable. L'accueil et la bienveillance des crétois est une réalité. Je vous conseille vivement la Crète et cette villa magnifique et idéalement située.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Toller Service. Das Haus ist geräumig, gut gepflegt und sehr sauber. Der Pool ist im September recht frisch, dafür ist das Meer nah.Der Ort Sfakaki ist nicht einladend und teilweise schmutzig - der Strand ist sauber.

Hi All We stayed at the lovely Nisos Villa, it was a wonderful 10 days, the Villa is beautiful, and we were well looked after by Dimitra and her lovely family. Well, situated with lots of things to do locally in walking distance. It is a home from home, couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Villa's great, really decent ground floor open kitchen and dining room with a seating area opening onto the pool. It was spotlessly clean and we have fresh towels and bed linen every few days. It's a 5 minute walk from the beach and numerous local restaurants and a 10 minute car journey from Rethymno.

#### Tolles Haus, aber der Ort ?

Wir haben uns in der Villa Nisos von Beginn an sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gemangelt und Dimitra hat uns toll umsorgt. Sfakaki ist allerdings kein schöner Urlaubsort, so dass wir froh waren mit unserem Auto die Strände und Tavernen der Umgebung anfahren zu können. Alles in allem aber ein sehr schöner Urlaub !

Gorgeous villa, very clean & decorated lovely throughout. Welcome food package was a nice touch. Hosts were easily contactable & helpful with recommendations for the local area. In my opinion a hire car is a must, although bus stop was a short walk. Highly recommend for family break.

#### Modern and sparkling clean villa in central location

We were very pleased with our stay at the Nisos Villa. The home is well furnished, super clean, and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the pool was sparkling. Although we did not use the basement, there was a ping pong table and treadmill there. The owner, Dimitra, and her husband were warm and gracious; they offered us fresh vegetables from their garden as well as helping us out when we forgot our key and when we needed local activity and restaurant advice. The home is situated a short distance from the main road, but far enough away that road noise was not an issue. The beach is close enough to walk, but we usually drove because it was so hot. There was free parking at the Cafe Eleven right on the beach, which we patronized on Dimitra's recommendation. This house and village is close to Rethimno (about 10-15 minutes by car) and about halfway between Chania and Heraklion. Since we had a rental car and wanted to explore the island, it was a good location for us. I highly recommend this property.

#### Perfect for peace and vitality loved every minute

The villa is exactly as the description. Its nicely located outside of the noise of tourist areas, but close enough that within 10 mins drive you are in the centre of Rethymno, or 2 mins to the sea. The garden feels very private and the pool was great. 3 lovely sized double rooms and a bonus lower space with table tennis and some gym equipment. We made great use of the hot tub which has a view of the sea. Dimitra our host was very helpful and friendly. She has put together a very informative information pack and she made it clear if we needed anything she would provide it. The fridge and larder had many essentials on our arrival which was greatly appreciated due to our late night arrival. There was plenty of space to park our car on the road next to the villa and there are tavernas, supermarkets etc within a 1 minute drive. If you are a bit fitter than us then they are in walking distance. The villa was cleaned every 3 days with a text or call given to us in advance to tell us of the time and the pool was well maintained. The Villa is in a great location if you want to explore the island, we did Heraklion, Chania, Hersonissis, Agia Marina, Agia Galini as well as Rethymno all within 2 hours so not excessive driving and some amazing scenery. Rethymno itself is an amazing mix of old town, shops, harbour, restaurants, beaches and vibrant night life. We spent a lot of time in the old town area and a good few nights in Billia's Billiards playing pool. Which had a great vibe.

#### Großartiges Haus, super Lage, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war tipitopi sauber. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, von der Auflaufform bis hin zum Milchaufschäumer ist alles vorhanden. Wir haben die ruhige Lage, die super Ausstattung des Hauses und die Nähe zum Meer (10 min. Fußweg) sehr genossen. Dimitra und ihr Mann tun alles dafür, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt – das hat wunderbar funktioniert 😊. Herzlichen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

#### Fantastic stay

We had a great experience and hope we can go back one day. Dimitria made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond as a host. There was food in the villa when we arrived and she even got us a small gift when we left which the kids loved. She also helped organising taxis and anything else we needed. The villa was clean and very kid friendly, short walk to a few good local tavernas and cafes plus a great supermarket down the road. Overall great holiday.

#### Great Luxus Villa

We had a great stay in the villa, you have everything you need. The pool is a bit cold but the jacuzzi on the balcony can be heated. The kids loved the toys and everything was fine. A 5-minute walk takes you to the beach and some shops and restaurants. Valia is very accommodating and helpful, she surprised us with homemade biscuits, an Easter bread and we even got a farewell gift. We can highly recommend the accommodation and would book the villa again. Thank you for the great stay Valia

#### Modernes Ferienhaus in Strandnähe

Sehr schöne Villa, Supermarkt und Strand fußläufig zu erreichen (ca. 800m). Unglaublich nettes Besitzerehepaar, dass sich sehr um uns gekümmert hat, jederzeit ansprechbar war und uns mit guten Tipps versorgte (beste Restaurants, Ausflugsziele etc.). Sehr schöner Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Stadt Rethymon (15 Minuten mit dem Auto), zu den Stränden der Südküste (ca. 1 Stunde Fahrt) oder auch für Abstecher ins Hinterland mit guten Wandermöglichkeiten. Highlights am nicht mehr ganz warmen Oktoberende waren auch der gut ausgestattete Fitnesskeller (Laufband, TT-Platte etc.) und der beheizte Whirlpool. Wir empfehlen das Ferienhaus daher uneingeschränkt weiter!

#### All in all, a nice place to stay!

If you are looking for an above average, clean and spacious villa with nothing serious to worry about, go ahead, book your stay at this place. The hosts are very friendly, always on call if you need something and dedicated to making your stay as pleasant as possible. We stayed at the villa for 14 days as two couples and had a good time. We would recommend this place to friends or family. Highlights: The pool is cleaned every morning so you don‘t have to do anything here. The basement is full of toys, fitness equipment and features a great pingpong table. A cleaning took place approximately every four days after prior agreement. The villa‘s interior is modern and of high standard. Nearly everything you need to cook and eat is there as well. Although we just used it one, the nice jacuzzi is a definite plus. Every room that needs it has a working AC - even the garage. There is a lot of space for 4 ppl in the villa. The barbecue area with an extra sink is another plus point. A supermarket for basic shopping needs is near by (10 min walking). It is about 15 minutes by car to the port of Rethymno. Rethymno Beach is okay, but we recommend a drive to Georgioupolis Beach. A car rental company can be reached in a 9-minute walk. To watch out for: Most of things we state here are a bit out of the host‘s hands - just to clarify and be fair. If you suffer from light sleep and are sensible to noise, be warned. The street right in front of the house is noisy, especially in the morning. There are at least 3-5 cocks in the near vicinity of the villa that start screaming at around 03:00 in the night and continue to do so until 09:00ish. The pool, nice as it is, is quite cold and in the shadow from around 14:00 onwards (we were here in September). The dishwasher needs a new front as it is really annoying to open/close. The lower bathroom could definitely do with more space to hang/put stuff and maybe some additional lights close to the mirrors could be installed. Also, even more possibilities to hang towels, bathing equipment and wet bikinis somewhere to dry in the house would be awesome. All in all, a nice place to stay!

#### Even better than what we expected!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Nisos. Everything in the villa is as advertised. The communication with Valia and the landlady has been superb throughout. The villa is conveniently located. Supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants and the beach are all within 10-15 mins walking distance. However, if you want comfort and also do some sight seeing - definitely hire a car, We hired one via Bestcars as recommended by Valia and it was super easy and reasonably priced. You can park right ourside the villa on the road. The restaurants nearby we went to were Taverna Eleven and Thalassi. We also drove into Rethymnon for dinner for 3 nights. Only 15 mins drive each way and the quality of the restaurants are superb. Would definitely recommend Villa Nisos! Everything and everywhere we've been for the entire trip are all COVID prepared including the villa. Thank you for a such a wonderful trip.

#### Superb Villa

The villa is well located close enough to walk within 10 minutes to a few shops and tavernas as well as a nice sandy beach with big waves. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming, from staying up late to let us in and show us round, providing basic provisions as well as a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine from the family vineyard. The villa is still quite new, is immaculately clean and well designed and is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. It was great having the table tennis and gym equipment to entertain our grown up children. No too mention the hot tub and decent sized pool, which despite being unheated and the lateness in season was still used daily by my stoical husband! The area is great for visiting the beautiful beaches and gorges, but we also really liked Rethymnio. Fabulous.

#### Eine traumhafte Villa mit traumhaften Vermietern

Wir waren gerade eine Woche zu Gast in dieser wundervollen Villa! Es hat einfach alles gepasst, vor allem die großartige Gastfreundschaft von Dimitra und ihrem Mann! Wir können es uneingeschränkt jedem empfehlen, so eine perfekte Unterkunft hatten wir noch nie! Zudem ist die Insel auch toll und das Haus liegt sehr gut! Strand fussläufig erreichbar, toller, netter Supermarkt ebenfalls. Wir hätten gerne verlängert!☀️

Property as good as the photos suggest, house was lovely and felt like an exclusive home not just a holiday villa . Pool , hot tub and air conditioning were all heavily used as it was so sunny and hot 😁☀️. Welcome and all admin were excellent, Dimitra and her husband were brilliant with a well stocked fridge, house supplies and a meal in the oven for when we arrived. And her cookies and cakes were delicious too. They also clean the pool throughout the week and sort a mid week clean and change of towels / linen. Nothing was too much trouble for Dimitra. The supermarket, beach and local tavernas are all about 10 min walk away but it’s not a problem. All the local tavernas we used were really friendly and good food and the sunsets wow... We didn’t have a car but it wasn’t a problem at all and using Nikos the taxi man Valia recommends was a good move for transfers to the airport and Rethymno (and he was lovely too) Would definitely recommend the villa to others, only very minor downside is there are quite a few half built villas behind and next to the villa and the constant noise of crickets outside takes a day to get used to but you do get used to it (and it’s not specific to the villa) Overall lovely villa, great service and support, considerate owners checking all ok by email and a lovely relaxing suite of rooms, hot tub, pool and garden. We definitely enjoyed our break here and would recommend to others 👍
