"We loved our stay! This place had everything we needed for an island vacation: beach access, towels, beach chairs, a cozy private for afternoon naps. Also, the place was comfortable and spotless! "My family stayed here for 10 days. The location was super convenient as we liked to bounce around from Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Menemsha Beach, and Edgartown:South Beach. The house was super clean and host very responsive. The backyard was big enough my son and I would do long toss baseball throws and could jump in the pool when hot."

"Great location. Lobby is gorgeous, smelled great, sat by fireplace in the late evening. Pool area was relaxing, great drinks at bar and food served was tasty, 4 ft deep pool, also had a hot tub. Great low key vibes from the families with kids so was still able to relax. Clean rooms. Complimentary bikes. We had a room on first floor and could hear a lot of foot traffic overhead but quieted down during over night hours "

"The Cottage on Oak Lane was a superb property and host experience for both my wife and I. Everything was clean and prepared upon entry. Having (quality) towels and linens provided was a huge plus. The grill is older but works perfectly. The dirt road Oak Lane is a bit long but extremely well maintained, low travelled, and provides excellent privacy. Our communication with the host gets an A and we used the in house guide to source several excellent activities. My wife and I would rent here again and would highly recommend this property for other couples looking for a getaway on MV away from the bustle of town. "

"Our family had a wonderful time at this cozy home only steps away from a very convenient supermarket and the bus stop that took us to the vineyard ferry. The owner was always available for questions and extremely helpful. We did bbq in the back deck as well as take our little dog McQueen to run in the back yard where she chased the rabbits and squirrels!! Overall we enjoyed every minute of our stay having same amenities as our home in Ny "
