The best time to go to Requena is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and lower humidity, making it more comfortable for exploring the Amazon rainforest and its tributaries. The river levels are also generally lower, which can make certain trails and areas more accessible for wildlife viewing and boat excursions. This period is ideal for those planning activities like jungle treks, piranha fishing, and birdwatching. The wet season, from November to April, sees higher river levels and more frequent, heavier rainfall. While some travellers enjoy the lushness this brings to the forest, it can make travel more challenging and limit access to certain areas.
