When is the best time to go to Nauta?
The best time to visit Nauta is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.

During these months, the weather is generally sunny with less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the Amazon rainforest and its waterways. The lower water levels during the dry season also mean that wildlife is more concentrated around the rivers, increasing your chances of spotting animals like monkeys, sloths, and various bird species. This period is particularly good for those looking to maximise their outdoor activities and wildlife viewing opportunities.

The high water season, from November to April, brings more rain and higher river levels. While still offering a great experience with flooded forests and different wildlife viewing opportunities, it can be more challenging for certain excursions.
