The room itself is a bit less than what you would expect. The hallways smell like urine. The ice maker was broken, and we were told by the very grumpy front desk personnel that was the only place in the hotel to get ice. ALL of the towels were stained with multiple colors, the security door at the back entrance did not close or lock, and the shower temperature would suddenly go super hot or cold randomly.
The rug in the room was dirty. There was no vent fan in the bathroom. No facial tissue. No place on the bedside tables to plug in a CPAP machine, or a charger for a phone. The blackout curtains had holes in them. The smoke detector had been removed and not replaced. Generally, things looked desperately in need of a remodel. On the positive side of the ledger, the bed was comfortable and appeared clean. Also, the refrigerator and microwave appeared to be quite new. The furniture looked decent also. On the whole, we expected better of a La Quinta.
The check in staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. Nice that they are pet friendly.
I’m sure the hotel was nice in its heyday, but outdated and scuffed up now. 😬
We woke up at 4 am to the many field workers (that stay there) filling their ice chests and water jugs from the ice maker across the hall from us. Took an hour of ice dropping and shouting to each other over the noise! 😳
The service and the breakfast were great. Everything else was very underwhelming. This is supposed to be a 3- start hotel, but we felt like the condition of the room was a 1-star.
The lock on the sliding glass door was broken, along with the safety bar. We were given a broken broom stick to secure the door.
No fan in the bathroom.
The tub faucet dripped all night.
The pull curtain across the sliding door was disgusting at the bottom - like mildew.
The furniture was tattered.
Never again.
Unsafe, couldn't get out the sliding door, hot water got warm and then it would get extremely hot, repeatedly. Couldn't get anything on TV for my child. I wouldn't recommend this please for anyone.

A typical India Indian property where they slack back on maintenance. Good staff and lots of deferred maintenance. I have owned motels & hotels myself and owned 21st Century Travel Inc. with offices in 19 foreign countries & 2500 employees which was sold by me. I am not being racist my son in law is from India decent
Checked in Friday 7:30 pm. Desk clerk gave me key card to room that was occupied. I had a problem making the key card work and when I successfully I opened the door and found a duffel on one of the beds. I went back down to the desk and saw the clerk outside smoking. She saw me and came in and told me that she had screwed up and gave me the wrong keys to the room. Said she had been working too many hours. My room had one washcloth, a tiny piece of soap and inadequate supplies for the coffee machine. Overall a poor experience for $120 per night.

Disliked: Cleanliness
My 1st impression was it was pretty grungy. Wasn't very clean. Reminded me of what you would expect from a Motel 6. There weren't available outlets or usb like a lot of properties have these days. No kleenex so had to use the awful tp. And only garbage can was in the bathroom. I had stayed at a La Quinta earlier this year in Williams and was impressed with that one so I was very disappointed here.
The room, the hallways were filthy. Not just a little dusty or dirty... We are talking straight filth. The air ventilation has thick black blow out marks in the hallways and in our room in the bathrooms ventilation. The ceiling in the hallways on the third floor were staging from water damage and.it was evident mold was formed under the paint that they tried to conceal it with. There were homeless and other odd people with food stands set up in the back of the property and took up several guest parking spots. The breakfast was not edible. The eggs were in a layer of water and they were just indescribable. The potatoes were cold and like rubber nuggets. When dogs won't touch bacon, that's saying something. Due to the thick filth caked around the bottom of the walls to the floor was so bad it had triggered my asthma and we left the night before we needed to check out. There were two water damage spots in our room as well. The lady who checked us in was extremely nice. It was the worst place I've ever stayed at ever.
This hotel was more like a hospital with less cleanliness. The shower drain was not attached and came off while I was showering and my heal got stuck in it. I have pictures! There was brackets on the wall that didn’t have anything attached this someone could easily snag or cut themselves on them. We travel often this trip was a multi-state trip with my husband and we had been on the road 15 hours when we got to the hotel and were really looking to get some rest. I have stayed at a lot of different hotels including many La Quinta hotels and don’t normally have anything negative to say but this one is not what we expected by far.
Originally we had room 328, after checking room out we found it to be filthy, large spots of blood on mattress & couch, carpets filthy. We then were changed to room 126 it was a little better but carpets filthy, sheets and pillows had stains, bathroom door rotting on bottom. Sliding door opened to pool area, pool was dirty and Sliding door didn't lock.chairs and Drapes were also filthy. No Kleenex in holder in bathroom. This LaQuinta is the very worst hotel I've ever seen.. At night when walking my dog around building there were prostitutes looking to "party ". Security was nonexistent all the outside doors except the front door didn't have card readers to get in but they didn't need them because all were propped open with big rocks.
We also booked the executive suite with a king bed but when they moved us we were given a regular room without any compensation.
I like how they provide breakfast, clean room and comfortable bed, no noise. What I disliked was my room smelled, not sure if it was coming from the AC. It smelled like musty/wet. I also disliked that there was only one hotel clerk. I waited for about 10 minutes to check in while clerk was on the phone booking a reservation for a customer. There were 3 others behind me waiting to check in as well.

Driving from Vancouver to LA. Stopped at La Quinta in Centralia which was great. Took a chance to stay at LA Quinta redding expecting similar but this property needs a full renovation. Staff are helpful but it is a useless property:
1. Room 108 - crap water pressure. Low bathroom ceiling. Exhaust does not work. Bath amenities not the same between two properties same chain. Useless stuff in this one.
2. Everything is worn and beaten up.
3. What's with the lighting...no uniformity. Bedside lamp with white light...no frikken plug points or USB charging next to the bed. Only one plug under a desk
4. Ac is loud when it comes on and and grinds when it shuts off...just non stop all night
5. Sliding door has a gap and you can hear noise even the road traffic
6. Did not try the breakfast as I could not get sleep
Renovate and rebuild
The beds were comfortable, there was no new soap, as it was opened and used prior, no coffee in the room, the TV worked. The staff were very kind and helpful, except for the breakfast staff. Breakfast was minimal, mostly carbs, scrambled eggs and undercooked bacon.
We brought breakfast back to the room to eat and a cockroach came out of our bread. I emailed the GM a few days ago, along with including pictures, and I have still have not heard back.
I definitely would not stay nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
The room we were given had cockroaches. The hotel promptly provided us with another room; however, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I book a stay here again. I cannot believe the hotel would assign a room to guests that had cockroaches. This raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and condition of the rooms.

We love staying at this hotel, however the place in in need of some serious repair. Sliding glass door does not lock and very hard to open, ice machines were all not working, not enough plugins in the room. We love the pool and spending time in the sun. Might have to pick a new place to stay.
This property was terrible, and we checked out immediately. Hallways leading to the room smelled, the first room was missing a light on the wall, exposing wires, other lights in the room didn’t work and there was a cockroach on the wall. Asked for a different room (it was late), the next room was just as bad, stains everywhere, missing chunks of carpet, smelled. White powder lined multiple door jams, I think it was bug repellent. We checked out after that and did not spend the night. This hotel needs some serious work. The front desk gal was nice and offered a full refund.
Room are dirty ,lights are broken and there was no hot water for 2 days during our stay. It's just a horrible experience.
Property's not maintained properly
