Even though they don’t normally have staff on site they have always answered any concerns we had. We have stayed at fawndale numerous times and it has worked out perfectly for us.

Quirky and quiet. Check-in was easy and quick. Solid AC that had the room perfectly cooled down in 20 minutes. Solid TV lineup. A quick 10-minute car ride from our favorite breakfast place in Redding, LuLu’s. Loved it!

After 9 years of traveling to Seattle from Pasadena, I have finally happened upon the most peaceful and convenient place to spend the night. The pool is surrounded by pine trees. No neighbor noise at all. Yet, it's right off the 5. It's only 7 rooms, lodge-like, separated into a group of 3 and 4. Only complaint is that the air conditioner was a little loud, because I'm sensitive to that. Wish I could've opened the windows. Also, I always bring my own thin pillow, because I hate big, overstuffed ones.

What a wonderful place and stay!! Was able to check in late in the evening, great room with everything I needed and easy parking. The grounds here are lovely. Would absolutely stay here again if ever in the area! Thank you Fawndale for having such a great place to stay!

We stayed for two nights. This place is about 40 min away from Mount Shasta Park. It was very comfortable and easy to check in and check out.

The property was in a beautiful area near lake Shasta. We enjoyed watching the moon rise through the pines. It was a simple cabin, a bit dated, but charming. We enjoyed it very much. We would stay there again.
