It was clean, and well taken care of. It is quite a drive back to the cabin so expect that if you book. It's not a short drive to anything, probably 45 minutes just to the post in red feather lakes. There is no AC, and we had a little furnace malfunction while we were there. Not the owners fault, things happen but it was warm inside due to this. Also there was a mitigation crew chopping down trees with chainsaws directly in front of the cabin. So we were in a work zone. Again, not the owners fault just bad timing. Overall it was a nice cabin if you're planning on not going anywhere except to fish. I would recommend it if you are there to relax, sit on the porch, and maybe do a little hiking and fishing on your trip. ##### Michalyn M. We were very remote and had all of the amenities you could think of plus more! Getting a Full Moon, with zero light pollution, and a dusting of snow ( coming from a Florida Beach girl ) were absolutely the Cherry on Top bonus for me. The cabin location was the problem. 10 miles from Red Feather Lakes Village on dirt roads that due to weather was difficult to drive. No open lakes, all appeared to be private. Between the weather (no control I know) and difficult driving we did nothing. Not something I would spend money to do again. ##### Carolyn B. It was even better than I expected. Delightfully remote, but easy to get into Crystal Lake/Red Feather Lakes. Impressively tidy and clean and well equipped.
