Loon Lake (and the loons who live there) was the highlight - it is so peaceful, with the loons calls echoing across the lake and between the mountains. Access to the lake is easy from the cabin, and the view through the big windows is lovely. Nearby Rangeley is a wonderful little town, the highlights of which were Pine Tree Frosty for ice cream on the lake and The Farmer’s Daughter for fresh produce and locally sourced products.
