Great place for a return to Durham

We rented this house for a group of college friends to come together for a mini-reunion and it was great. Cool design like you can see in the pictures but but also very functional. We hung out by the fire pit for hours on Saturday night enjoying some classic N.C. barbecue and catching up on old times...great weekend that would have been hard to replicate in a hotel.

THIS HOUSE IS A ZERO

The house was horrible. Everything is broken or it does not function appropriately. The beds are ridiculous . Not just one, all of them. In the master bedroom on the first floor, the bed was a rollaway bed from big lots in a decorative frame. So you can just imagine the condition of the remainder beds. The mattress are cheap and old. The pillows are all flat. In the closets pillows and bedding were on the floor nothing on the shelves. I am not even sure if this house was cleaned prior to our arrival. When we arrived, the trash dumpsters were filled with trash. Trash was thrown along the entire side of the house. The inside of the house was not well kept. The bedroom door was broken and didn't close. I told the owner and he didn't offer to repair nor was he concern that it was broken. Before we could go into the home, I had to get the house cleaned, purchase bedding, face and bath towel for our stay at this property. The face and bath towels were old, very used. Nothing matched. I have rented several homes but this home is the absolute worst. I wouldn't recommend this dump to anyone and I feel my money need to be returned. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. VERY DISAPPOINTED. .

The home is beautiful but has several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Once we had checked in, there was very little response and care from the owner to our questions and concerns.

Amazing Property

We were traveling back from a stay in FL and needed a comfortable place to relax and sleep for the night. The home exceeded expectations. It is impeccably decorated, spotless and had ample space for my family with beds to spare. The host was so helpful by communicating the easy checkin and kindly left us a welcome basket. The backyard is lovely with a Firepit. Highly recommend staying here. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Charles was very sweet. He responded to everything we needed. The house is beautiful and very modern. Starbucks was provided which was nice. Here is the bad part. The location was not great. Corner property and lots of noise from the street. The beds and pillows Need upgrades. Thank you for sharing your house.

Downtown Durham High Rise

The property was brand new, very clean, with plenty of space. The outdoor area in the backyard was fantastic. The property manager was very communicative and helpful. If you're familiar with Durham, it's not the best area of town but we felt plenty safe during our stay. You're also only about a mile from the main area of downtown (bars, restaurants). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to other folks visiting Durham.
