The staff were all friendly and helpful. Slept well, bed very comfortable, large shower, plenty of lighting, wifi and cable worked well and great continental breakfast.
There were 2 police cars out front when we got there. Hslls and elevator were dirty and wall paper was torn off in several places. Staff courteous and friendly.
Beds and bathroom clean except carpet was sticky and dirty.
The breakfast was poor. The site stated "hot buffet" breakfast. There were breakfast sandwiches and waffles. Nothing else hot. The cereal was stale and not replenished well. It was served from 6am-9am but if you went after 7-8 am everything was gone and you had to knock on kitchen door to get things replenished.
Our room was clean enough. And the one staff member i mostly interacted with was very nice.
But I wouldn't advice anyone to stay here more than 1 day.
It was NOT like the other LaQuintas we've been too! Normally a little outdated but clean and functional. The amenities like ice bucket and fridge have not been updated since the 70s and were discussing. The mattress had stains ONTOP of stains... the pictures dont do it justice. It smelt just like a pet store in there. Fresh hey mixed with Bodily fluids... Will definitely not be returning. The carpets everywhere were covered in mystery stains of all colors. The furniture in the lobby hadn't been cleaned in a long while... the walls in the lobby and by the elevator where covered in brown hand prints and dirt. Dead bugs and mice poop was under the desk. A little cleaning and getting new mattresses would go a long way.
We stayed here many years ago. The place is not in great shape now. Rugs are filthy, bathroom ceiling leaked on us, WiFi went out, pool broken, no AC in gym, -night clerks were difficult. People cleaning the rooms & setting up breakfast did a nice job.
The gal that checked me in was incredible rude. She actually accused me of throwing my credit card at her. She was a minimum of 8 Ft. away as I dropped it on the counter in front of me. The pool was locked and hadn’t been cleaned for several weeks (water was green with algae) the rear door where I was instructed to enter closest to the elevator (which didn’t work) the door didn’t have a handle. Wall paper in halls cracking, peeling! Beds very comfortable
I done been to this hotel 3 times first 2 times was great room was great but this time the room i had got had roaches in the bathroom bad at night time so i would make sure you got a good room if u staying

The first room was not good , but the staff changed the room within a few minutes. The breakfast was lacking.
Toilet seat was broken, never got a disabled room as promised, and there was no plug so I could charge my phone. Bed was comfortable.

Lots of rat noises in the walls I believe because I saw so many running in the parking lot late that night. No sight of droppings or smells of urine though room and bathroom were clean though
When you have a 140 lb Great Dane traveling with you, finding a hotel that allows a dog that large is challenging to say the least! But not only did LaQuinta accept dogs of any size, we were given a room on the first floor and close to an exit door so we didn’t have to go through the lobby for the dogs potty breaks. They also have an area for pets to do their “business”. Our room was clean (no bed bugs!) and the staff was very friendly. The price was very reasonable as well, even with the pet fee.
When I entered the hotel to check in, a couple standing there warned me and told me to go to another hotel. I wish I listened! The carpets were filthy. The hallways were hot and sticky. The staff were on their cell phones using vulgar language WHILE THEY WERE ASSISTING US! The air conditioning in the room would not turn off and leaked water all over the floor! There were lights and outlets that did not work. The building itself is beautiful. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the shower was nice.
The property is not well maintained. The pool was closed down for the summer. It could really use an update. They had an elevator out of service and the one that works still, sounds like it was going to break as well. Overall, the staff interactions were quite pleasant.
Non-smoking was a joke, the entire place smelled like a walking through a Woody Nelson concert. Always folks smoking right at the doors while going in/out of the place. The pool was just a green swamp with floating items everywhere. The man at the desk was pleasant but not helpful, and the woman at checkout didn't seem to care about too much about anything and pointed on the receipt to several guests checking out where to submit complaints like it was part of the checkout process. It was a good deal on the rate and didn't take us long to find out why. Do yourself a favor and miss this place unless the price point is really your only request in finding a place to sleep
I booked a room for myself and my support dog. The first room they assigned me smelled like cat urine they changed my room, which was clean, put the lampshades over the bedside mounted lamps were missing carpets throughout look like they needed a good vacuuming. The breakfast bar needed a good wash. The outdoor pool was not open, even though it was past Memorial Day and it was thick with green algae. The room itself was clean and spacious although the furnishings were old the location is great and this could be a good hotel if given a little more attention.

To me, the staff stood out in particular it was the manager. I can’t remember her name, but and Linda, the supervisor of housekeeping, as well as Eduardo they all went out out of their way to help me out and feel comfortable.!!!
We stayed two nights for a soccer tournament and enjoyed ourselves; along with the breakfast and the showers are nice. Good hot water and good towels. Thanks*****
