Your family will be close to everything downtown Durham has to offer when you stay at this centrally located 2-bedroom bungalow. Including a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops. You will love the open feeling of this home with its natural light and 9-foot ceilings! Enjoy hanging out in the large backyard with friends and family before heading to a show at the DPAC or dinner at one of the amazing restaurants that Durham has to offer. We can't wait to host you! \*The Space- iving Room-65" TV, Queen sleeper sofa, non working fireplace. Dining room table- Seats 6 Kitchen- Granite counter tops, Island that seats 2, Stainless steal appliances Bedroom 1- King bed, 55" TV, Desk with chair. Bathroom 1- Bath shower combo, tiled floors, single vanity. Bedroom 2- Queen bed, chest of drawers. Bathroom 2- Connected to bedroom 2, Shower only, Single vanity. Laundry room- Located off of kitchen. \*Guest will have access Via a lock box. You will receive the code the night before your stay. The code will be changed after you leave. \*We will not be available in person. Three in driveway and two in street \-Pets are NOT allowed. There is a $400 fine for unapproved pets. \-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. \-Parties: We do NOT allow parties. If you have a special event or gathering request, we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. If there is evidence that a non-approved party/gathering has been thrown, you will be assessed an extra cleaning fee up to $500. \-Overnight Guests: Please make sure you enter the accurate overnight guest count when booking. As you can imagine, when 1-2 people spend the night, the wear and tear on the house is far less than when additional guests are in the house. Although this property can sleep more than 2 guests, the base price is for 2 people. There is a $15 per night price increase for each additional guest staying in the house over 2 people (the exception is for infants under 12 months.) Putting in your accurate overnight guest numbers PRIOR to booking will ensure you can see what the correct price will be for your stay. \-Visitors: We are perfectly fine with you having family or friends visit you during your stay. If you are planning to have more than 2 visitors who will NOT be spending the night, please let us know. At no point can there be more people at the property than the maximum house capacity listed. (For example: if the house sleeps 8 and allows you to book for 8 people, then there can never be more than 8 people at the property – even if they are just visitors stopping by.) If this rule is not abided by, there will be a $40 fee per unapproved visitor. \-Fire/Smoke: It is a property rule that there are to be no fires, candles, smoking or burning of any kind in the property. This does include not having any fires in the fireplace. We charge a $200 fee if there is any indication of any form of burning/smoke in the house. (This is for the safety of our guests and to protect the property.) \-Excessive mess: If the property is left excessively dirty there will be a $100 fee for extra cleaning. \-Late check-out fee: Late check-outs are allowed only if explicitly approved. If approved prior to arrival you can check out as late as 11:00 a.m. with no charge. There is a $25 charge per hour if we extend anytime beyond 11:00 a.m. and the latest we can let someone checkout is 1:00 p.m. For day of late check-out requests there is a $35 per hour charge. If not approved, there will be a $50 charge for a 30 minute late check-out. If the guest has not left the property after 2 hours they will be charged for a full additional day. This does not allow the guest to stay an additional night; it's a penalty fee. This extra day fee is without discounts. \-Fire place is currently non working and is not to be used Note: For Security Deposits, VRBO collects these funds and returns them to you if the property is not damaged. As the host we do not receive these funds. Please remember to declare the total number of guests in your booking, including children aged 2 and up, in accordance with Vrbo policy. This helps us ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. Upgraded interior with hardwood floors, nice carpet and well designed rooms. Close to Downtown Durham. Constructive criticism includes 1 need to upgrade curb appeal 2. Back yard was not mowed (grass foot high) 3. Lack of quality control. I.e. garbage disposal and dishwasher did not work , no hair dryer available, missing a potato peeler 4. WiFi difficult to load.
