It has been tastefully renovated and has all modern conveniences while retaining its bachy, beach cottage feel. The vast deck offers panoramic views over Raglan and the private open air bath tub is perfect for relaxing and star gazing on moonlit evenings. Just a short stroll to the beaches of Cox and Lorenzon Bays, and very close to Raglan wharf and town with its retro shops, and excellent cafes. The house is small - probably suits a couple best, with an expansive deck and great views over the inlet. It's a short walk into town, maybe 15 minutes. Coming home requires walking up hills so you need a reasonable level of fitness. Takes about 3 mins to drive. House is well-appointed, There's a bath on the deck which we didn't use, but it looked amazing. Definitely recommend this place for a quiet weekend. Can also highly recommend The Artisan Bakery, and Ulo's restaurant. They were our go-to places to eat. And of course Raglan Roast coffee - the best coffee for the lowest price.
