Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"Overall we had a great stay! It was a nice size resort for our ~4 day stay. Room Gorgeous! For being an Expedia Silver member we were automatically updated from a Topical King room to a Preferred Level Ocean View King Room. The room was spacious, had a nice bathroom area and a wonderful balcony. Overall all the room was pretty quiet. I could occasionally hear people in the hallway but not more than your average hotel room. Our mini fridge was restocked regularly (even multiple times a day sometimes) and they took requests. Also for being Expedia Silver members we got a free bottle of champagne delivered to our room daily and a welcome cookie. The room was well stocked with soap/shampoo and vanity supplies (Q tips, shower cap). The room also had a working safe which we used for our valuables. Resort Grounds Well maintained. Plenty of wildlife. Some tiles coming off the bottom of the inifinity pool. Pools were great! Seaweed / Sargassum was cleaned from the sand well but remained in the water while we were there. Always plenty of towels. Preferred Level Status Such a great amenity! The preferred level bars definitely had better quality or at least more consistent better quality drinks. The preferred lounge was a nice spot to hang out (open 7a - 11p) and often had nice snacks and even some breakfast. Plus the check in/out and concierge process was great. Aaron was so helpful! Food/Restaurants Bordeux (French) and Himatsu (Japanese) restaurants were our favorites. Portofino"

"Great place for a relaxing visit. this time of year limited children however they have a couple adult only pools. Great food. This is an all inclusive, and they do have resort packages thru their website also, We choose to travel with Expedia this go around."

"Pros- I liked that everything was walking distance and close by. Food was decent. I liked that there seemed to always be something open where you can grab food. Drinks were ok. Very friendly staff. The buffet had good choices in regards to food. Cons- beach definitely not swimming condition due to all the seaweed. The Japanese and Chinese restaurant was closed 2 of 7 days. They weren't able to accommodate our group of 8 even though we requested reservations the minute we arrived on resort and stayed four days. It was off season and there was definitely not a large crowd so I'm not sure what they couldn't get us in. This was the only restaurant that required reservations. Service for dinner was pretty slow even though there were not a lot of people."
