RPSH009 Casual and comfortable, this quaint 7 bedroom sleeps 11\. Great for extended families or multiple friends! "Atwood Cottage" is just steps from the town landing beach at Captain jacks Wharf and the West End parking lot. It's very rare to find a full home to rent in town, on Commercial St. You'll be close to the Boat Slip, the Red Inn, Sal's Place, Relish, and Victor's Restaurant. An easy bike ride to popular locations like Herring Cove Beach, the West End Breakwater, and National Seashore bike trails. The house features a comfortable living room on the first floor with cable TV. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor; one has a king and the other a queen. They share a full bathroom. On the second floor there are 2 king bedrooms and 3 rooms with 1 twin bed each. These rooms share a full bathroom. There's also a half bathroom off the kitchen on the 1st floor with a washer/dryer. Linens and bath towels are supplied as well as beach towels. There is a gas grill for outdoor cooking and a small front yard with folding tables and chairs for outdoor activities. Off street parking is included for 2 cars. NO AC! This home cools with sea breezes. The kitchen was well stocked with great storage, appliances and room to cook meals every night. The expandable table seated everyone. Linens, including beach towels were provided. A washer and dryer were great and included supplies.On top of that the location was spectacular in Provincetown s West End, close to the excitement of downtown commercial street but far enough away that it was quiet. And the local public bay beach was just two houses down across the street. We swam, kayaked and watched the sun rise from there. We can’t say enough about this spot!! ##### Tracey W. I live abroad and this return made me remember why I love being on The Cape so much. Sitting in the front yard with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the late afternoon was dreamy. Watching the people go by, so very nice. I am planning to return next year and I don't want to wait too long before I begin my preparations. The house is definitely an old cape, no doubts about that, but it was roomy and extremely clean even with 11 grown men. Not having an AC wasn't a problem as the week was fairly cool, but I can definitely see that being a deal breaker in the future if the week was hotter - either way it is clearly stated so we were aware of the risk!
