A stunning place located adjacent to beautiful Lake Murray, a 78 square mile lake located in central South Carolina. A shared private boat ramp allows for launching of water-crafts, paddle board and paddle boat (contact us for availability and fees ). A short 100 yards walk brings you to a shared dock for lounging and swimming . The place awaits for your next memorable experience! The space The unit has a large kitchen with a large dining table with 52” TV and Wi-Fi. There are four bedrooms and one bathroom, a little living room and screened porch. A short walk to the lake. Guest access This is a single living unit. It has a large garage attached to the home and the exhaust fumes from what ever they have cranked up out there is overwhelming! It gave me terrible headaches. Séjour de 2 nuits en juillet 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Dann H. 30 juin 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Relaxing, Large but Cozy Home-Away-from-Home We needed to get a place to stay due to a funeral in the area, but we also wanted to bring our dog, too. Tessie is a very dog-friendly person (she and her husband have several of their own), so that was a plus from the beginning. It was very hot in SC during our stay, but the AC worked extremely well. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a gas range, which I love to cook on. Flurry (our dog) loved the spaciousness of the house, and so did we. There's a full-size bed in each of the four bedrooms. If there's a downside to the property (which is incredibly close to Lake Murray, and in fact, is just a few steps away from one of the lake's many coves), it's the fact that it is not equipped with a king-size bed (which we are accustomed to sleeping on). In the owner's defense, the bedrooms would be too cramped with a king bed. Finally, one personal preference: I like a TV at eye level when sitting. All of the TV sets were wall-mounted, and we craned our necks to see the few shows we watched. All in all, Tessie manages the house conscientiously and with care. Though we met her during our stay, she is not intrusive at all. In fact, she's friendly and approachable. Great stay, despite the sad reason for it. And a PS: You'll love watching the goats sitting on the roof of a shed from one of the bedroom windows or from the large, fully-screened porch, which we would have enjoyed were it not for the heat! :) ##### Dann H.
