THE DEN at Hayden Lake- Hot Tub, Boat Slip, Close to Riding & Hiking Trails,

"We loved this quiet retreat. For us, it was a bit of a drive from the main road. We can see it on a map, but keep in mind you'll need an extra 15 minutes on windy road to get anywhere. Being remote was welcomed. We had trouble finding which boat dock was theirs so we avoided it so as not to trespass. The home was comfortable and well equipped. The host was responsive and communicative. Having washer/dryer was great. Having an entire home to yourself with pets is rare & appreciated. Keep in mind the way to the 2nd floor is a metal, spiral staircase (as seen in the photos), but is not child or pet friendly, so you just need to plan accordingly. We have small dogs so we carried them. Otherwise, it was a beautiful home & lake. Close to CDA & Hayden. :)"

Not far from Hayden and CDA but far enough to get away from city life. The deck with fireplace is a place you won't want to leave! Everything was as described and depicted!"

"The view was fantastic and so was the boat slip with cover. The location is good and not too far from town and we liked that it’s in deep water where there are no blue algae problems. The host was quick to respond, which is good.That being said, was it luxury as the description says? No. It was simple. The furniture is old and needs updating and so do the pots and pans in the kitchen.14 people would be a stretch as the hot water doesn’t last long, and there is not enough pressure for several things to run at the same time. The primary room upstairs gets the brunt of that. A trickle of water comes out when others are showering or washing dishes or clothes.Every bedroom is non conforming meaning no closets (except the primary has one that is locked and not available) although there are dressers.It’s pretty pricey for what you get IMO, and we have stayed in three lake houses here so far. Overall, it’s an ok stay-not luxury but simple."

"We had an absolutely incredible stay on Hayden Lake! The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have asked for. The location was perfect, with amazing views and a peaceful setting that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time in Idaho. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely come back again.Ken was an unbelievable host from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. You can tell he really cares about his guests and the property. We would give this stay a 10/10 without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing place on Hayden Lake!"
