Very big and specious apartment, very good locatio
Very big and specious apartment, very good location. Very close to the Charles Bridge and all the other tourist attractions. The parking though is a bit small if you have a big car, but besides that everything was great. Would definitely come there again.

Stayed for 2 nights with a group of 6 in the "3 Bedroom Apartment with Kitchenette and 3 Balconies." The rooms appeared clean and spacious, and the location is in a safe and quiet area. However, the customer service was extremely poor and for this reason I would not stay again. Do not expect to get good help from anyone here.

Upon arrival we were told that the apartment we had booked wasn't available and we would have to pick from one of the other two apartments. The main reason we chose the James Apts was to have three bedrooms and a common space and now we were downgraded to just a two room apartment. No reason could be given other than what we had booked wasn't available. I would not of booked our stay here knowing that we couldn't get 3 separate bedrooms. That was the point of it for us. They did set up (for a price) ground transport from the train station for us where we had a very nice driver. After the room mistake we were told we'd have our taxi ride to transport home comped, however they had us pay some when they realized we were going to the airport and not the train station. Seems like they could of at least covered that for the rather big downgrade in rooms. the location was great, but I wouldn't book anything there again because I wouldn't trust that I'd get what I'd booked.

We booked a three bedroom apartment and it was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. This apartment is centrally located so you are between the old town and the Prague castle. The owner arranged transportation to the Prague Airport. We would stay there again.

The location of the apartment is convenient, easy access to all tourist attractions. The apartment is huge, the beds are very comfortable. Overall a good place for our time at Prague.

Comfortable, spacious rooms and amenities. Good Wifi but some rooms were only served by basic harsh lighting. Also there was some evidence of imperfect electrical 'make do and mend' repairs, though not obviously dangerous in nature, these were somewhat unsightly. Staff were pleasant and helpful despite their basic grasp of english and our even more rudimentary czech. A good base from which to explore this picturesque and engaging capital city.

Room didn't have air conditioning and this was not mentioned anywhere during booking. There was a water leakage from the water heater. We had to ask for additional shampoo / bath gel since room service did not replace these as they were finished. Reception was empty most of the time.

Would not stay here again
I had a negative experience here. Would not book it again. I have booked a duplex apartment with a views to city center, but got a downgraded apartment in a inner yard. The worst part was that the receptionist only admited that when confronted about the downgrade. He did not seem to keen to help, just said to contact booking.com if he have any complains. The room look dated (walls full of fingerprints and small sraches, bathrooms were missing hooks for towels, some spots on the bed covers). The kitchen had all sorts of diffent cups and glasses, something you would expect to see in youth hostels. It does not look like it is on the pictures. I guess they were taken after the renovation and not updated for many years. One plus for this place is its location. It is 15 - 20 min walk to the old town. There are also many nice bars and cafes around the hotel to choose from.

The property was in a good location Very clean there was a slight smell in the bathroom although it was very clean the bistro below was closed but there was a nice little Caffè opersit and lots of restaurants close by

Wonderful stay
Perfect location (central but away from the crowds) , very spacious rooms, tram stop close by. This is really a gem to recommended when in Prague.

Very nice and big apartment. Great location!
The apartment was very big and very comftarble. We were only 4 at the apartment, but there was room for more. It was also very good that there was parking at the hotel, as parking in that area is hard to find. The location is great, filled with nice Cefe’s, restaurants, shops and more. Very close to all turists sights, and the Petrin tower. Highly recommended property!

Great and central place.
Our stay at James apartment was fantastic, clean, spacious. And comfortable for our family needs. I’ll just say they need to put more amenities for bathroom use (bigger soap) WIFI was very slow and intermittent.

we were driving from Germany, we entered checked republic at 11:45 PM, I made my reservation at 11:52 PM, we arrived to the hotel at 1:30 am and the door was closed, we dialed 11 in the interphone many times, we called people locals to explain what the answer machine says , then we borrowed a phone from one of them to call, no one answered , then the phone transferred to a different hotel SAX , so we had to pay for new rooms, we were told that if you don't arrive by 12 AM then the room is given to someone else !!! this is the worst experience I have ever had, I will dispute the charges with my credit card company.

Hello from James apartments, so just to make all the stories clear. The reservation was made 8:45 PM, since this time you had few phone calls discussing and post proning your arrival. The lady on the phone told you that after midnight your reservation will be canceled. But if you arrived to the hotel the room will still be there, only front desk is closed so you have the ring the bell to be connected to Sax hotel, that will help you with getting the room card. Unfortunatelly after your arrival the intephone that connects you to the Sax hotel was broken, so there was no phone call made. That is the reason why nobody answered on the phone. So you stayed in your car till morning. Because of this misunderstanding, immediatelly in the morning first member of the James apartments staff gave you the roomcard and accomodate all of you. After that, you also received free breakfasts in our bistro. We told the front desk members to inform you about cancelation fee for the first night that will be charged. And also about the second night that will be paid regarding the reservation, even that the booking was canceled after midnight. So at the hotel, you paid the second night and right after we found out nobody charge the cancelation fee we did it. There was no extra fee or any extra payment, also the room was not given to someone else or you had to pay in different hotel. Thank you for understanding

Good location close to sights. Tram station just down the street. Only drawback is no air conditioning. It had been pretty warm and ac would have made things better. Big bedrooms and nice bathrooms. It did not have a living room but very comfortable.

Hotel switch without notice!!
The intercom at the door was poorly damaged for days. No assistance and check-in after 8pm, fortunately we arrive at 7:30pm but was switched to Sax Vintage Design Hotel without prior notice. we didn't even get an email. Both hotels have a 10 minute walking distance. Was driven over. But it did not feel right to be switched since i'm not getting what i paid for. What if i arrived after 8pm, then i'd be lost and pushing 3 large suitcases up a 5 minute hill. No comment about James, because we didn't even stay there. Frustrated, service could have been better. Sax Hotel was overall alright except the AC which wouldn't cool. So our room was boiling in the afternoon. Disappointed.

Hello from James apartments, our facility has the front office only till 8pm at some days, currently during the summer season, we have a staff ready till 11 or midnight. I had the information, that you have been informed about the overbook problems and about changing the hotel. So please accept our apology if it wasn´t exactly like that. No worries we would manage to take your luggage to the second hotel also after 8pm. Unfortunately as you said. Sax hotel had some A/C problems, so it was not cooling exactly as it should. Great location for a family holiday.
Huge clean and spacious apartment. Great for a family. Walking distance to Prague Castle, Vltava river, Charles Bridge. We walked everywhere and didn't use public transport apart from our initial tram journey from the Main Prague Railway Station. Tram stop is outside the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend the cafe downstairs which served a hearty delicious breakfast. The apartment was very quiet. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Experience
Close to town and St. Charles Bridge. Plenty of close places to eat and shop. Spacious rooms and apartments. Private parking. Great prices. Only negative is that garage space is very tiny, not made for big cars or vans.

Nice boutique hotel in Prague
Great stay at the 3 bedroom apartment, well located away from the main road and was quiet. Keys were ready and prepared during our time of arrival which was ascertained by the hotel via email. The owner runs a restaurant as well and we enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast. It's only 5 mins walk away from the Holy Infant Jesus church and 10 mins walk away from the famous pedestrian only Charles Bridge. Great for those looking for spaciousness and comfort in a freshly updated apartment.

Modern, spacious apt hotel good for families
Located at the heart of Mala Strana, this apartment hotel is a brand new building with elegant, modern decoration, a lot of space, and cooking facilities. The restaurant is on the first floor, there are some other restaurants along both sides of the street. Across the street, is a huge hilly park, that leads to the beautiful gardens and to the mini "Eiffel tower" where you can have the best bird's eye view of the city. If you enjoy green gardens and walking, after visiting the hustle and bustle Stare Mesto on the right bank, this is the ideal place to chill out. It worked for me perfectly.

Very good position and very nice accommodation
We were very pleased with everything. The residence has only been opened for 2-3 months and the restaurant wasn't complete but there are loads of places to eat. The rooms are exceptionally large. Slight problem was that the beds weren't made in the morning even though clean towels were provided and room kept clean. Overall would go back and will probably do so.
