If, like myself, you only drink water with dinner, don't joke with the waitstaff about too many options. She soured after that. A minor hiccup in an otherwise excellent stay.

The Uig hotel was so warm and welcoming. It is obvious the hotel takes pride in providing a clean and comfortable stay. The room we stayed in was a little tired and could use a refresh, but it served its purpose. The bathroom has been updated and the shower was great! The hotel is a great location for exploring the Isle of Skye. We dined at the hotel for both dinner and breakfast. Service and food were both excellent. We would definitely recommend this spot to others and return if given the opportunity.

Gorgeous views across the bay! Good dinner menu for dinner. Convenient for sightseeing the Isle of Skye. Negative? Too hard and steep a walk up to second story lodge room for an older person, but the view was worth it!

A very comfortable and friendly hotel with a very good restaurant. Stunning view from the bedroom over Uig harbour. Ideal for our overnight stay before catching the early morning ferry to Lochmaddy.

This was an average hotel in a resting place along the way. I appreciated the staff moving our room when I expressed concerns about the noise from the restaurant under us. The breakfast was great!

Absolutely gorgeous property and a beautiful part of the Isle of skye. We truely did not want to leave. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfy. The view from our room was breathtaking. I already cannot wait to come back here! How ever many days you have planned to stay here, it’s not enough! Add more!

Beauty and nature surround this property making our stay relaxing. The room we stayed at is spacious. We were greeted with majestic view of the lake, sunset and the delight of the night sky. Not to be missed are the hospitality of the staff- from the welcome lounge to the dining hall. Can’t wait to return to this piece of paradise.

Such a quaint hotel on the Isle of Skye. The views are amazing and the drive spectacular. The food in the dining room was fantastic! I'd stay here again for sure!

An Excellent Comfortable Hotel!
Everything about my stay was excellent. I received a warm welcome and indeed every member of staff I met is a credit to the hotel. The food was very good with excellent choices, a great choice of ales in the bar and a really seriously good breakfast! My single room was very well appointed, modern, warm and comfortable with everything working as it should with an excellent view of the harbour from the front of the hotel. Yes really! I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will certainly be returning myself within the next 12 months. I found their attention to detail First Class. Highly Recommended.

Great Hotel to Stay in Skye
Had a lovely romantic getaway to Isle of Skye and enjoyed staying at Uig Hotel! It was super close to the Fairy Glen and other spots we wanted to visit and see. Really nice rooms and amazing food! I loved how we could book dinner and that breakfast was included in the stay. Amazing!

Lumpy bed. Flat pillows. Put in a room not located in the actual hotel. Carpet is dirty and smelled. Not happy with the room for paying over $200 a night.

This is a great place to stay on Skye. My father snd I stayed in the lodge and the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent. It would be nice if there was an area in the "bar" to just sit and have a drink without having to order food, but that was a small inconvenience considering everything else. They provide amazing materials with directions, etc. as to popular sites to see on Skye. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a separate building above the building that houses the bar and restaurant. The room was very clean and well maintained. The harbor view could have been better with two sad trees partially blocking the view. I still give the experience a 5 because the staff was so superb and the meals were also top notch!!

Confusion upon check in nearly had me looking for another place to stay after they thought they were fully booked but ultimately did find my reservation. The room was in a separate building behind the main building in the advertisements. The shower did not drain well and the floor made an awful racket. Food services were slow but friendly.
