This lovely 150m2 apartment is on the 1st floor, accessible by lift. The living room is tastefully furnished and well-kept, with a sitting area, a TV to watch all your favourite shows and a dining table. It is also generously lit, perfect for sharing moments with your group. The kitchen includes appliances, essential cookware, and crockery that will fulfil any of your culinary requirements. There is a washer available for your laundry needs. Both bedrooms contain a comfortable double bed with complimentary hotel-quality linens to ensure a good night's sleep, multiple storage spaces, and a work desk with a chair. The two bathrooms have all the amenities you will need to freshen up, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries for your convenience. The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. Enjoy your stay! Guests will have access to the entire home! We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home, so please take good care of it as if it were your own. A hub of the port wine industry, Vila Nova de Gaia is peppered with cellars offering tours and tastings. It's also known for sandy beaches like Praia da Madalena and the scenic riverside road Cais de Gaia, with its cafe terraces and expansive views across the Douro. Small restaurants serve grilled fish and seafood in the old fishing village of Afurada, where picturesque tiled houses line narrow streets. The property is easily accessible by public transport and car. The nearest metro/train station, General Torres, is just a 7-minute walk. Sá Carneiro airport is a 20-minute drive from the property. Before your check-in, we will send you your check-in options and where to pick up the keys. Please note that personal check-in with a concierge costs 10€, pending availability. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. I literally beg them from September 16 to the 19th. My booking was from September 16 to the 20th to meet me at the apartment to show me how to get in. I'm the one that told them to add the fob to their instruction list on how to get in, but I couldn't physically get into the apartment. They claim they were gonna meet me there. No one gave me a time to meet them and I ended up spending an extra $800 on a hotel booking because they didn't show up and now they refuse to refund any money if you are a solo traveller or traveller of any kind, do not stay here this place is not legitimate. They will steal your money which they did to me.
