Our ‘Secret Cottage’ stay while touring Portland, the beaches and Mt Hood was excellent! This is a very comfortable and well-appointed ‘homey’ place. The enclosed yard with lush gardens is a private retreat. It’s a beautiful place in a convenient location. We’d stay here again!

Staying at the garden cottage was the absolute best start to our trip! This is the coziest cottage stocked with everything we could need and in a quiet and safe neighborhood with great restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Reading my book in the quiet peaceful garden each afternoon while the wind blew in the wind chimes and the birds sang … perfection! We sure hope to stay here again on our next trip to OR.

Diane was super friendly, the place was super clean, and a great location! The only thing to know is that the cottage is technically connected to their house, and you walk through the shared garden to get to the place, so it’s not fully independently/private if that’s what you’re looking for. Otherwise I would 100% recommend staying here!

I felt blessed to have such a cool place to stay while visiting my daughter who lives right down the street in best neighborhood of all of Portland.The place is clean and comfortable ..oh and bed is extra comfortable! Special private backyard with natural landscape. Hope its vacant next time I visit. Diane was very responsive and welcoming.

We loved our stay. It was so homey and sweet. I loved all the personal touches. I also loved how well stocked the house was with beyond the basics (ziplock bags, dental floss, sugar, etc). The garden is adorable and we spent a lot of time watching the birds and squirrels. And clean! Oh my gosh…so clean. Thank you so much. We will be back!

This BnB was the perfect choice for my recovery after top surgery. From the moment we arrived, I appreciated how thoughtfully designed the space was for accessibility.My mom has mobility challenges, and the clear walking paths, ramp access, and beautiful garden made a world of difference for both of us. The accessibility features in the bathroom were especially helpful—not only for my post-surgery recovery, but for my mom as well.What could have been a stressful experience was made so much easier by having a comfortable, welcoming, and accessible place to stay.
