We had a wonderful stay at the Nathaniel Lord Mansion. It was the right blend of having super helpful staff around but at the same time feeling like you were on your own in your own home. I loved that they thought of all of the little things you would care about like water for your room, sweet treats (the cookies were great) and how to get around. We also liked that we could easily walk to everything but we also used the bikes for exploring a bit further away. It was a delightful stay all around.

Staying at the Captain’s Collection was such a delight! The property is absolutely beautiful, and everyone we encountered was so friendly, kind, and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was such a treat and made the stay feel even more special. The location couldn’t have been better, everything in Kennebunkport was within walking distance, which made exploring the town so easy. They also have bikes available for guests to use, which was such a nice touch, although we unfortunately didn’t have enough time to take advantage of them. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer in Kennebunkport! We truly loved our time here and would absolutely stay at the Captain’s Collection again.

My sisters and I stayed here on our annual sisters’ trip. It could not have been better! We enjoyed the lovely grounds, historic rooms, home made breakfasts, and bikes. It was perfectly located with easy walkability to town (but not in the thick of it), bike-able to the beach, and wonderfully quiet. The staff was the perfect level of attentive. Honestly I can’t think of anything that could have been improved! Highly recommend booking your stay here.

All the inns in n the collection are very nice and the location is very convenient. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was a nice size with a couch and fireplace, but the bed was uncomfortable. The seating areas outside are very nice and so convenient to have bicycles, towels and beach chairs available for guest to use. Breakfast was simple, but more than enough to start the day and always something warm and fresh to eat. Best chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. I would easily recommend this place.

This was the bed and breakfast of our dreams. The most beautiful property. The best amenities. The BEST breakfast and fresh cookies daily. Could not recommend more!!! Could easily walk into town and we rarely had to drive anywhere. We will Most definitely be back.

Everything that we imagined. Beautiful property. We were able to enjoy nice cool evenings around the fire pit, after riding the hotel bikes provided for guest around Doc Square. Our in bound flight was canceled. So we arrived a day later. The hotel work with us to shift our stay by a day at no additional cost. All of the properties were beautiful. We look forward to our next visit.

The property is lovely and the location ideal. Breakfast was excellent. The only downside is that the King bed mattress was about 4’ high, with a step stool to get in and out. To get up at night required turning on the light to find the step stool, then making the climb, which felt unsafe and woke me up enough to have difficulty getting back to sleep. Ask about the bed before choosing a room!

The room was amazing, the location is perfect for choosing one of the multiple restaurants to dine at but the beauty of the homes that make up this beautiful stay was amazing. Just walking between home was breathtaking. It quintessential Maine in a wonderful compilation of high quality bed and breakfast. We enjoyed everything about this place and are not only recommending it, we will visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay with KCC! The room was clean and beautiful. It was nice to have extra amenities such as hot cocoa, water, tea selection, games and even a boutique on site.
