There was no thermostat in our section so we were subject to the owner’s preference of temperature. Has a small fridge but the owner did make us aware of that prior to our stay. The knockout was the location—very walkable, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. I also appreciated having a spot to park our car. We visited in May, and the bountiful blooming roses in the area were stunning, making for a great daily walk. His cozy apartment has a fully equipped kitchen but the neighborhood is so fun we never cooked. Just made a quick morning coffee with the supplies provided (appreciated). We could leave our car in the parking space and in about a 20 minute walk or less be anywhere we wanted in the neighborhood including up to Hawthorne. ##### K G.
