Literally a couple minutes walk to the beach, the quieter end of the beach near the ferry which we prefer! The apartment was airy, spacious and clean. We parked on arrival and didn't use our car until we departed - everything you need is within walking distance or we used the buses which run very regularly. The accommodation is bright and airy, and we felt at home immediately. We brought lots of things with us, but there was no need as the kitchen has everything you need for self-catering. It’s worth flagging for any elderly guests there isn’t a lift (my mum is 76 and would have struggled if I wasn’t there to carry up bags) and if you’re not a dog lover the beach at this end is teaming with dogs (not all owners were ‘picking up’ after them), but these are the only two slight downsides. But, on the flip side this end of the beach is quieter. We loved everything else about out stay - you cant beat the location. The beach is so close, you really don’t have to drive anywhere. There are also good and easy bus links into Bournemouth and Poole and there are 2 restaurants walking distance away for evening meals (one child friendly) and there are also lunch options at either Haven cafe by the ferry, or the Sandbanks cafe (bit further of a walk). Sep 24, 2020 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Wonderful stay and fantastic weather Apartment extremely comfortable and clean. A few minutes walk from the beach and ferry to Shell Bay. Visited several restaurants, The Canford and The Cliff, 10minute drive, food very good. Our 2nd time in Sandbank’s and just love the area. ##### Anita S.
