Could be amazing but needs updating.
This villa is in a great location, near the beach, shops and restaurants.The kitchen is great with a range of utensils and appliances, however the dishwasher wasn’t good and we had to rewash a lot of items.The pool is really cute, lovely to be able to have a refreshing dip when the sun was hotting up. The sun-beds were not comfortable at all, some of the bars had warped and would dig into your body, these need replacing.The outdoor furniture was very shabby with uncomfortable chairs, the metal on the chair feet was crumbling away so you had to be careful where you stood. The owners could really do with investing in a lovely outdoor sofa or similar with cushions for chilling out on.We found a fishing weight with line and sharp hooks on it just left on the drive way, could have been nasty if we’d had young children running round barefoot.Our major issue was the air con, it kept breaking down and we spent 4 of the 7 days contacting the property management company. They did come and fix it but they then left the wrong controller for it which meant no air con and again we had to contact them to resolve the issue. The house is cute, traditional and has real charm but definitely needs a refresh and update. It smells musty, curtain poles aren’t secure, bathroom tiles/grout need a good scrub, new bedding would be good too. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay here again.
