The room was nice and comfortable. However, it was over a restaurant that was very loud. Every morning at 6am they were blasting music. Also, the hallways were dark and smelled like gas. The property was nice, close to the beach and lots of restaurants.

Near Beach too far from City.

The hotel is average, it is situated not to far from beach. The cleaners was terrible, they didn’t clean the 1st day… they just dropped off towels & toilet paper, when asked they said tomorrow, the next was same they exchanged towels & replaced toilet paper. Didnt make beds or clean floor etc. The reception only open certain times. It takes over 45 minutes to get to city although it’s less than 10kms, the traffic is horrible going to & from hotel.

The location was nice and close to the beach. The apartment didnt feel as clean as i would expect, the walls and shower didn't feel as clean as should be. The living room AC seems dirty, dusty and possibly had mold on it. I would also recommend they add a 1npage instruction around water heater, air conditioner for usersbto reduce confusion, there were many wall switches and we didnt realize one of them was for the water heater.

We had a great stay at The Residence. The accommodations are basically serviced apartments. There is a reception office for services like beach towels and laundry for a fee. I believe they will arrange transportation for a fee as well. The apartments sit right behind a Marriott resort Le Meridian and you can pay a resort fee to use their facilities. The beach is public however there are umbrellas and loungers for the hotel set out on the beach directly in front of the apartments. We used them without a fee however in peak time I suspect that will not be an option without paying the resort fee. It was a little tricky finding the reception due to the most visible signage leading you to the Le Meridian. For a larger group the water heater may require you to shorten your showers. Overall the location was great. We did encounter a bit of traffic on the main road at most times of the day.

* Excellent welcome and service from Mia. She's been very helpful with all our questions throughout our stay. * Our property was excellent and very clean. It also had all the amenities we needed as a family. * Liked that everyone has dedicated parking space. * Great and easy access to the beach. * A lot of supermarkets around. * The pool is small but my kids loved it nonetheless and with the beach literally at your doorstep, it's wasn't really a big deal. * The restaurant downstairs was also good and the staff very welcoming. Small tips for first timers in Croatia: * Generally, do carry some cash with you in addition to your credit/bank card. Some shops are cash only and in restaurants, it is best to tip with cash. * Most ATMs will charge you for taking out money so you're better off taking a lump sum than small amounts and paying fees each time
