Spectacular Villa on the Mediterranean

"Villa Maria is a spectacular property! Our family of ten (six adults and four children under 5 years old) spent 8 days here and none of us wanted to leave. The private gate opens onto the most beautiful sandy beach with the warmest water we’ve ever experienced. Our four grandchildren spent part of every day playing on the beach and the rest of the time at the amazing pool and hot tub at the villa. The villa itself is a five-star property. It’s absolutely spectacular!! No detail has been overlooked. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with high end appliances and lots of seating for casual meals. We ate most of our meals at the outdoor kitchen table by the pool, with an incredible view of the property. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and completely updated with electronic shutters and lots of closets and drawers to store everything. The gym and theatre room were a wonderful addition to the already incredible space. Finally - I can’t say enough about the owner John and his house managers John and Flo. All three of them were wonderful to work with and very responsive to all of our communications - through booking the villa right up until our check out. John and Flo became like family to us and we especially loved the paella dinner that John prepared and Flo served during our stay. I highly recommend arranging this dinner to anyone staying at the Villa. This was a truly memorable vacation and we can’t wait to come back!!"
2 bedroom lovely apartment in Benicàssim

"The location of the property is excellent being a short stroll from the beach. The apartment itself is a good size and had most things that we needed although we bought a kettle which we left.Communication from the company in charge of the apartment wasn’t great and despite requesting linen and towels twice via email had to confirm this again with the lady that looks after the apartment when we arrived.Although this lady was very helpful we had to communicate via google translate as couldn’t speak English but that wasn’t a problem but obviously takes a bit more time if there are specific questions.Overall I was happy with the experience, parking was easy, the apartment block itself is well maintained and the Pool was very nice.Benicàssim beach itself is lovely and a short walk.It is very much a Spanish resort (which is a good thing) with little or no English spoken so be prepared to learn a few basic phrases if you’re coming from the UK but we had a great time and would recommend. Overall if this property had Aircon and WiFi it would be a 9/10 but the reasonable price we paid allowed for this and we were still very happy overall."

"We had a great time at this hotel. Air-con was a godsend for Welshmen staying during a very sunny period in Spain. The price was great as we only needed the rooms for sleeping, as we were outside during the day and evening. On the other hand, having no bins in the room was not ideal. We got around this by using supermarket bags as bins, but we'd hope that next time we visit there are bins. Also, an iron and hairdryer would be useful, although I understand that it is not expected in this hotel. Overall, we had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and offered great support and guidance (especially when planning our route back to Valencia airport!). The private pool was very useful, as it was very chilled out and close to our rooms. I would definitely visit again!"

"Tolles Appartement, ein paar Dinge funktionieren nicht mehr so dolle. Die Jalousien in der Verglasung der Front, die Kaffeemaschine, die nur mir sehr speziellen Pads zu betreiben sind ( die wir vergeblich im Benicassim gesucht haben) die Klimaanlage im Hauptschlafzimmer. Und dann wären da noch der Herd, der nur noch auf einer Flamme funktioniert hat. Wir sind in sehr viel auf Reisen und waren in unzähligen Unterkünften. Was für mich einfach ein Muss ist, ist ein Check der Dinge auf Funktion. Alles andere hat aber prima geklappt. Man ist sofort am Strand und in der Stadt. Der Preis ist sehr fair für das Angebot. Wir können es also definitiv weiterempfehlen."

"Stand out for the room was the balcony overlooking the sea in shade of palms and equipped with hammock. Also chairs with table and two chaise-lounge. Snack bar menu is extensive and prix-fixe menu was offered at restaurant. Breakfast included. If staying longer free bikes and kayaks or SUP ready to take. Warm and sheltered water in quiet bay very pleasant swim."
