« Situation correcte et calme; bon petit déjeuner. Mais, arrivant à 1h du matin, nous avons commandé une navette aéroport, et là, le prix est très abusif. De ce fait, pour les 2 dernières nuits à Tashkent avant notre retour en France nous sommes allés dans un autre hôtel de même gamme qui nous a commandé un taxi tôt le matin pour l'aéroport pour 8 fois moins cher.. »

"Cette belle d’autrefois demeure un hôtel de qualité à Tashkent. Très bien situé avec un personnel compétent et serviable. Sécuritaire, propre et tranquille, il offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Les balcons de la chambre sont utiles et pratiques. Heureux de mon séjour de 4 nuits. Son architecture brutalisme soviétique ajoute à son charme."

"Lorsque j’ai réservé une chambre sur Internet, j’ai oublié de préciser que nous serions 2\. Lors du check in, la réceptionniste m’a expliqué que la politique de l’hôtel, pour corriger cette erreur, était de facturer 2 fois au client le surcoût. Je trouve cette pratique commerciale pitoyable dans la mesure où le client ne peut qu’accepter. Cela va de pair avec le comportement des personnes à l’accueil qui oublient régulièrement d’accueillir les clients avec un bonjour, puis de conclure les échanges avec un merci et un au revoir. J’en profite pour signaler que, des 5 hôtels que j’ai fréquentés en Ouzbékistan, celui ici propose les serviettes les plus fines et un petit déjeuner assez quelconque, là aussi en comparaison avec les autres hôtels. Pourtant le City Palace hôtel m’apparaissait comme le plus luxueux et évidemment le plus cher ! Enfin, bien que l’hôtel dispose de 4 ascenseurs, un seul fonctionnait, à partager avec les membres d’entretien, ce qui impliquait des temps d’attente assez longs pour desservir les nombreux étages environ 15). Je conseille à cet hôtel de revoir ses prestations. "
