Cleaning fees are paid to assure Guest's arrival to a clean property, not to clean up post-checkout "messes." This apt. on Butler St (#2) of a renovated building of six apts., definitely had pros and cons. The Pros: Great location (right on popular Butler St.), pet friendly, nicely decorated, extra touches with amenities, comfortable bed and apartment. The Cons: While the location on Butler is a plus, it has its drawbacks - noise level. Being on the corner of a bustling street like Butler, you have a bar right next door and surrounding restaurants. Since apt. 2 is on the main level to the street, there is a lot of late noise from the bar and people walking by, then the trash and delivery trucks Very early in the morning - which is understandable. The shared laundry is Right below you, and the people going up/down the steps to the other apartments is also loud! (Only a door separates the apt. and the steps. Can hear Everything.) If you are a late night person(s), no problem! A situation did occur in which we contacted the property manager. Instead of offering compensation towards that stay, a discount was offered for a future stay at one of their properties. “It’s not the mistake, but how it’s handled.” ##### MaryJoy N.
