"The place is very, very special, a hotel in the rainforest, the staff is really lovely, we probably arrived at a bad time, the room was very humid, the blankets were so damp that they were wet, it was not pleasant to sleep there, we were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but unfortunately we chose to leave after the first night"

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "Amazing! It's gorgeous all around property, with very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived from La Fortuna late afternoon on spare tire and they right away offer to take care of that for us! They took tire to shop and got in fixed and replaced by the time we were ready to go to dinner! Saved our day! Breakfast was excellent and ambient so beautiful. "These are pretty rustic cabins, but they are clean and comfortable. Also, the WiFi is fast. Expedia double booked the family cabin so when we arrived, the only cabin left was a studio with 2 full beds - and we are 5 people. The host called his daughter and she brought over a cot to put in the living area. We were so grateful not to have to find another place! I can't say enough nice things about this host. He lives next door and is totally willing to help out in any way. He has 3 milk cows and 2 calves and he makes his own cheese - it is SO GOOD. We only stayed 1 night, but in a bigger space we would love to have stayed longer. "
