"I was looking for a short get-away with cooler temps. I was so happy to have discovered this amazing rental. It provided everything and more than I could ask for. It was serene and quiet and close to all the local restaurantsand stores. Within driving distance of many outdoor activities. The loft is beautiful and you don't even have to leave if you choose to prepare and eat your meals on the premises. Nice balcony that provides viewing of the elk and perfect for the cooler weather. Lisa and Brian are excellent hosts and available at any time. I'm looking forward to my next visit."

"Fantastic Stay for Large Families!VRBO made it incredibly easy to find and book this cabin in Strawberry, and it is a great value for what you get! The pictures online do not do justice to how big this place actually is. It had plenty of room, giving our large group more than enough space to spread out and feel comfortable. It had easy to use baby gates for the stairs, 2 high chairs and 2 pack-n-plays, which helped us out immensely and gave us peace of mind about our little ones' safety.The kitchen was great, the outdoor grill worked perfectly, and the dining table easily fit all 7 adults, plus 2 high chairs. The beds (So many beds!) were clean and comfy. Lots of room in the main family area for us to sit and for the babies to play on the floor. The game room was a huge hit; though most of the darts were broken, my family did use the pool table a lot and had a blast. Several of us also enjoyed the Ms. Pac Man game. One member of our family became quite good at it!A special shout-out to the amazing owner—Jeanay was incredibly helpful and promptly answered my questions when we arrived. I definitely recommend this cabin and hope to stay again!"

"Our family had an amazing time! This house fit us all comfortably and had the best entertainment. The game room and volleyball court were a favorite and where we spent much of our time. The property was full of wildlife, deer, elk, havalina, and a wide variety of beautiful birds. We can’t wait to get back to the Eagles Retreat!"

"We were looking for a quiet place to get away from the valley and the heat. This place did the trick. The wrap around deck was amazing!! Great place to sit in the morning watching the sunrise and seeing elk stroll by. Was a wonderful and peaceful place. Hosts were great at communicating and let us know about great July 4th parade which we really enjoyed."
