    Find peace and solitude at this three-bedroom desert escape! Directly bordering more than 16,000 acres of desert wilderness at the foothills of South Mountain, this home offers plenty of opportunity for spotting wildlife and great access for exploring a plethora of hiking trailheads just around the corner. Check out Desert Classic Trail, Pima Canyon Trail, and Marcos De Niza Trail. It's also excellent for mountain biking, hiking, and running and is only a short drive to grocery stores and many highly-rated local restaurants. Downtown Phoenix's food, shopping, and entertainment are just a short drive away.

    Enjoy a 10-feet deep saltwater swimming pool in the ultimate privacy, serenity, and natural surroundings. Updated fixtures and appliances will welcome you home in comfort. The full kitchen is equipped with quality kitchen appliances for dine-in cooking, and the wood-burning fireplace in the living area provides ambience and warmth for movie nights. A large, 65' Samsung 4K TV with a backlight is perfect for endless entertainment, while the height-adjustable electric standing desk with a 27' monitor is ideal for your work-cation. For added convenience, the home also includes an EV charger available for guest use.

    Primary bedroom guests will enjoy an attached bath and direct access to the pool deck.

Nice stay. Great hiking access

This is a really nice property. The home is comfortable. The back pool area is lovely and the view is wonderful. The easy access to hours of hiking is a real perk. Would stay again.

We came for a concert for the weekend and enjoyed everything about this stay. It was a rare gem. Our favorite part was having the canyon hiking trails in the back yard. Everything was in close proximity to the house, and it was just like pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool. We will certainly be back!

Great Little House

We enjoyed our stay. Nice house. Check in was a little tricky. We didn't have both codes but a two minute phone call solved the issue. It was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hiking right in the backyard. Recommend this home.

Girls Trip

I stayed with 2 friends for a long weekend to attend a concert and soak up the last of summer. The house was clean and as described. We really enjoyed the pool and view of the recreational area.

Hiker's dream home

Great home within a couple hundred feet from some of the best hiking in all of Phoenix. Home was very comfortable and just the right size for three people (couples) to relax. Trailhead access is 5 houses down and you can spend days on trail if you wanted to. Beautiful sunrise/sunset photography options.

The house is terrific and the location can’t be beat for the active and adventurous. We hiked every day! Had we had bikes we would have biked as well. No shortage of trails! Incredible views from the top of South Mountain!

Pleasant time in Phoenix

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and a good location. We wished the owners would have listed more of the amenities they had in the VRBO as it would have helped with our packing. Only other thing that would have been nice were more restaurant suggestions. Maybe consider a place for your guests to write their recommendations for future guests.

Amazing kitchen, pool, and Mountain View

The kitchen was amazing. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were perfect. The garage was tidy. All of the appliances were brand new and really high-end. The pool was 10 feet deep and 3 feet of the shower rent gorgeous views of the mountains and hiking trails were steps away I would love to comenext year next month.

Spring Training Getaway

The location was great for baseball. The refrigerator did not have a working ice machine which was a big disappointment. We had to buy ice. The area around the pool needed to be swept.I would not recommend for children because the pool was not heated and did not have a handrail. The house was very clean and organized and had all that we needed. It was great to have a grill.

Great house and location

We just spent a week in this home and it was perfect. It's a smaller home, but was perfect for us. We loved the convenient location close to I-10 and that it was a short walk to the Pima Canyon trailhead. We struggled a bit at first with a garage code and house code. It's an extra step, but it didn't bother us. The beds were comfy and other furniture was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed - except a coffee pot. They did have a refrigerator and they provided a fabulous selection of coffee and teas. Just an FYI if you like to brew a pot in the morning. We loved the backyard. View was beautiful and lots of sun. This is a great house. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice house. Pool was unusable. Sediment on surface though the pool cleaner was in the pool full time. Notice on wall to not move pool equipment & didn’t want to try to swim around hose.
