There are lots of activities right on premises. Try your luck at fishing (catch & release/fishing poles provided), take a lovely stroll around the lake and take in the scenery including a babbling creek and waterfall, play some tennis or take a dip in the large community swimming pool or hot tub. Gas barbeque grills are located throughout the facility as well. There are many options if you’d like to venture out and take in the sights and sounds of Phoenix. This central location makes it easy to take in all that Arizona has to offer! The property was kept up and everything was clean and worked fine. Aside from emails, I did not have any interaction with the host, but there was no need to as everything that I needed to know was spelled out in the listing. We live at a higher elevation and she was unable to return for at least a week. While here I needed to work remotely. This condo was perfect for all of our needs. It's very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and was very comfortable. There is a desk area that was perfect for my remote work while my mother recovered laying flat on her back on the couch listening to audio books. The view overlooking the lake is beautiful and the sounds of the geese only added to the peaceful ambiance. The location is centrally located so getting to the various areas of the city for surgery and post op appointments was easy. There are many food options as well as pharmacy and grocery locations nearby for convenience. The almost 1 mile walk around the lake provided a nice outing for me without venturing too far away from my recovering mom. Mom will need to have the other cornea replaced in the relatively near future. I will be looking for availability at this condo when we schedule the next procedure. The hosts were very kind, answered all of my questions about the property prior to booking, and provided a beautiful and comfortable home to stay. 5 stars all the way around! It was a very nice, clean apartment and very safe. Plus, we had covered parking so we didn’t have to worry about our vehicle, in case of bad weather. All stores and restaurants are within a few miles, too. Easy to go to and from campus within 10 min. Having the pond outside was such a nice touch and we spent many mornings and evening on the porch. We had one small issue and it was resolved quickly. The condo's proximity to I17 makes it easy to get anywhere in the area, and restaurants and shops are nearby. We enjoyed our daily walks around the lake, and sitting on the screened porch watching the variety of waterbirds. All in all we had a nice time here during the month of February.. ##### John K.
