The location is excellent, right on front of the river. Rooms are a bit outdated but for the price they are ok. Downstairs, close to the lift, there was an immence penetrant smell of toilets. Check in and further service was good. Its a shame this hotel is so shabby and poorly run. It has such potential to be a good hotel given its great riverside location. I have nothing positive to say about this place apart from its location. Everything else was off. Dingy windowless room with only half the light fittings working. Bed was broken, my back is still sore 3 days later. Wifi was flaky to the point of being un-useable. TV reception is terrible. No fridge. Dirty bathroom. Ratty towels. Incompetent reception staff and miserable cleaners. Ive stayed at over a dozen PP hotels, this was the worst hands down.
