The location of the second looks kind of seedy as there is a brothel diagonally across, but there were no problems when we stayed their recently. However, the hotel felt very safe to begin with - solid doors, locked windows, etc. which was important to me since I brought my laptop. The area around the hotel was also safe with many shops open late selling food and other traveler necessities.
