If it turns out that smoking was taking place in your flat during the time you were renting it, you will be charged $300 in penalties. Two large spacious bedrooms, with two full bathrooms, very clean, beautiful hardwood floors, etc. The one thing the listing doesn’t mention is that it’s a 3rd floor apartment in a building with no elevator. My friend had a heck of a time getting her 50lb bag up those stairs, and I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so needless to say, a heads up would have been nice. Additionally, when we messaged the host to see if we could get a late check out, we never received a response. Also, we were charged an “additional person” fee of $75 and I’m not sure why because there were only two of us and the listing said it could sleep four.
