  • Thank you for choosing Humble Home, a cherished family twin home named in honor of our humble beginnings. Lovingly maintained by our mother and family for over 25 years, this welcoming home has provided comfort, stability, and cherished memories for multiple generations.

    Located in a safe, diverse, and friendly neighborhood, Humble Home comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests and features a fully equipped kitchen, two cozy living areas, a private fenced backyard, and free street parking available 24/7 with no permits or meters required.

    Perfectly situated for college visits, family stays, and medical travel, the home is close to Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, Villanova University, Rosemont College, and Eastern University, as well as Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Penn Medicine, Jefferson Health, and CHOP. Guests also enjoy easy access to parks, walking trails, shopping, dining, SEPTA public transportation, and Center City Philadelphia.

Overall great host and in a good location with easy walk into town. Stairs to second floor are quite shallow and steep, if anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs I would reconsider as only bathroom is upstairs. The TV was a bit strange as it always had ads running on lower part of TV stand even when turned off. There was a camera on top that apparently senses when ads are being viewed. That felt uncomfortable but we just put a magazine over it. The air conditioning in each bedroom worked well. Host was very accommodating and responsive. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had no dishwasher so if you are with kids be ready to wash dishes a lot. Overall this home was in a good location and what we needed for visiting Bryn Mawr. Just be mindful of your group needs.

Walkable to Haverford and Lancaster Drive, and easy drive to much more. It is humble. Not fancy, but perfectly adequate for my stay. Ish was communicative and helpful. Steep stairs that might be tough for some as all bedrooms are upstairs.
