It is also not at all well marked on the road \[look for Parque da Serra then follow signs for Chale\] & if you miss it, you must drive the 20K loop again, all the way back down the mountain, u-turn before tollgate \[or pay the toll twice\] & back up the mountain just to get back to find it. Also the 600-meter drive off the main road is very rough and mostly unpaved. At night this place was extremely hard to find, esp. for nonspeakers of Portuguese. The room was at best 2-star, wifi did not work, & there is nothing near the hotel.
